“We had a fantastic stay at the Panoramic Cottage.”

It was clean, bright and spacious. There was everything you could think of available, you don’t need to take anything with you. The best part about the house are the views, they are absolutely breath taking, we could not take our eyes off it. The only issue I would say is there is no direct parking and you have to park on the road. I imagine in the summer it is a nightmare to find a parking space. A very enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend.

    - Mrs Hough, October 2018

The Owners of Panoramic Cottage thank Mrs Hough for the lovely review of the property but would like to add that although the lie of the land in Brixham makes parking generally less than ideal, parking for the cottage can always be had in adjacent streets, particularly North Furzeham Rd which runs along the front of Panoramic Cottage. We chose Panoramic Cottage above other similar properties partly because of this and its level access from the road. It does not cling to a steep hill like many other properties in the Brixham Bowl. Mrs Dempsey who submitted another nice review in July 2018 said there were no problems parking on the road running alongside the house. - Sykes owner relations

About the location

BRIXHAM

Dartmouth 5 miles; Paignton 6 miles; Torquay 8 miles.

Brixham is a working fishing harbour located on the southern side of Torbay, the area known as The English Riviera, famed for its sunny mild climate all year round. The focal point of the harbour is a life size replica of The Golden Hind, Sir Francis Drake’s ship. The prettiest part of Brixham has small cottages in hilly narrow winding lanes leading to the harbour where all the activity is centred. Home to Britain’s largest fishing fleet which regularly lands their catch in the harbour, Brixham fish market sells to major restaurants in the UK. Brixham is the ideal destination for a traditional holiday with many family attractions around Torbay including two Blue Flag beaches, Paignton Zoo and many regattas and maritime events throughout the year. There are a host of safe cycle trails in the area, the South West Coastal Path and some of the best golf courses in the region. A good mix of relaxation or action, to suit all ages, where you are never far from the sea.
