  • "The lodge was nicely furnished and really cosy."

    This was important as the weather wasn’t great! The bedrooms are surprisingly spacious with lots storage. WIFI works well too. We enjoyed our stay very much.

  • "We had a really good holiday at Manleigh Park."

    The lodge is very spacious and comfortable. All your needs are catered for. The walk to the beach takes around 25minutes , and is slightly uphill coming back. It was handy to be able to take the bus into Ilfracombe, where there are lovely walks and we even saw grey seals near the harbour. A lovely relaxing break.

  • "Lovely well kept site."

    Small and quiet , the lodge even better than the pictures. Beautiful and clean, had everything you needed. Very comfortable, beds comfy , lovely white bed linen and towels. Staff were great , very pleasant and helpful . There is a winding and bit steep drive onto site but was ok. Well worth staying there .

  • "A lovely lodge absolutely spotless,nicely positioned on site with own parking,good size decking with table and chairs and very quiet couldn’t ask for more."

    One small issue we had heavy rain for the week we noticed gutters were badly fitted and in need of cleaning out,only met one member of staff who was very friendly and helpful regarding area and places to visit.

  • "Number 16 is a beautiful lodge, tastefully decorated and boasts a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher."

    The site is extremely peaceful and relaxing, the wrap around deck was perfect for sitting out with a cuppa watching the rabbits jumping around and the birds in the trees. It is a pleasant walk to Combe Martin although it is quite steep but only takes about 20 minutes Everyone on the site was so welcoming and helpful. We would definitely return.

The dining area comfortably seats four people, making it the perfect spot for enjoying home-cooked meals or playing board games late into the evening.

The lodge boasts two well-appointed bedrooms: a king-size with a TV and an en-suite featuring a walk-in shower, heated towel rail, basin, and WC, and an inviting twin room.

There is also a separate shower room with a walk-in shower, heated towel rail, basin, and WC, providing ample facilities for all guests.

Outside, you will find a wraparound decking area complete with furniture, offering a wonderful spot to enjoy your morning coffee or dine alfresco whilst soaking up the serene surroundings.

COMBE MARTIN

Ilfracombe 5 miles; Woolacombe 12 miles; Barnstaple 13 miles.

At the point where the Exmoor National Park and the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty meet, is where you'll find Combe Martin. This small seaside resort, with all of the necessary amenities, is a great attraction to locals and visitors alike. Combe Martin has a very popular beach; the sheltered cove is perfect for rock-pooling and it is a popular paddle boarding bay. The village also boasts its own Wildlife and Dinosaur Park! Combe Martin is home to the historic Earl of Rone festival held in May each year and has an annual carnival in August. This is an ideal base for touring, and discovering the delights of North Devon, with Lynton and Lynmouth, Woolacombe, Croyde Bay, Saunton Sands, Ilfracombe and Barnstaple all within easy reach. There are also numerous National Trust properties and gardens waiting to be enjoyed. Surfing at Woolacombe is among the best in the South West, while the South West coastal path passes within a mile. Combe Martin is a great base for enjoying a seaside getaway, with something to keep everybody entertained.
