  • "The lodge was lovely, clean and in a peaceful spot at the end of a cul de sac."

    We were surrounded by trees, shrubs and bird song. The drive to the lodge was tarmaced although a bit steep. Plenty of places to visit nearby. We had a lovely stay even though the weather could have been kinder. The only thing that could be improved was the double bed which we found sagged into the middle and squeaked every time we moved.

  • "We didn’t have any issues with the property as our scoring shows."

    However, we did have issues with the site as follows: the reception was closed for our the entire stay so we didn’t have a point of contact for the following two issue's 1/ we party booked this site because it had a bar on site but it was closed for the whole week we were there 2/ we also liked the idea of having a play area on site for our granddaughter but like the bar it wasn't available because it was was also locked off all week. Collectively we were very disappointed in that we paid £740 for this week and felt we didn’t get what we thought we were paying for. It was further disappointing to find that the price for the following week was only £495.

  • "Stayed At 18 Manleigh Lodge and WOW what a fantastic Lodge."

    It was immaculately clean (praise goes to the cleaning ladies). The interior was superb. Bright, light and wonderfully furnished. We had a slight problem that was dealt with within the hour. Can’t ask for better service than that. The little welcome pack etc was a really nice touch. The decking was lovely to sit out on with a cup of tea or a glass of wine in the evening setting sun. Nick, Kerry and the whole team were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. It’s a lovely quiet park and the accommodation is brilliant. The refurbished bar is a nice place to go for a drink or two. I thoroughly recommend this wonderful site and all the staff and hope to return soon.

  • "The lodge was spotlessly clean and very well equipped, the milk in the fridge and welcome pack was a lovely touch as were the selection of board games and a dog towel if needed."

    The online photos were an accurate representation of the lodge which was very spacious and comfortable. The park was well maintained and peaceful; check-in was so easy with the gentlemen on site very helpful and friendly. We would thoroughly recommend.

  • "This is beautiful holiday lodge."

    We had a lovely stay. They lodge is well equipped for all your needs. The lodge is located in a peaceful area of the site surrounded by woodland. We are planning to come back with more of our family already.

  • "Very clean, comfortable and well equipped (like new)."

    Beds very comfortable with excellent bed linen. Parking ideal. Heating effortlessly controllable. Well situated on the site in a peaceful location. Ideally suited for touring North Devon and Exmoor. Would highly recommend the property and would definitely come back for another visit. Thank you for a lovely stay.

COMBE MARTIN

Ilfracombe 5 miles; Woolacombe 12 miles; Barnstaple 13 miles.

At the point where the Exmoor National Park and the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty meet, is where you'll find Combe Martin. This small seaside resort, with all of the necessary amenities, is a great attraction to locals and visitors alike. Combe Martin has a very popular beach; the sheltered cove is perfect for rock-pooling and it is a popular paddle boarding bay. The village also boasts its own Wildlife and Dinosaur Park! Combe Martin is home to the historic Earl of Rone festival held in May each year and has an annual carnival in August. This is an ideal base for touring, and discovering the delights of North Devon, with Lynton and Lynmouth, Woolacombe, Croyde Bay, Saunton Sands, Ilfracombe and Barnstaple all within easy reach. There are also numerous National Trust properties and gardens waiting to be enjoyed. Surfing at Woolacombe is among the best in the South West, while the South West coastal path passes within a mile. Combe Martin is a great base for enjoying a seaside getaway, with something to keep everybody entertained.
