"We loved our recent stay at The Woodlands, a fabulous Edwardian house in a sort of secret, secluded location with stunning views, but near to the village of Berrynarbor and close to the beaches and attractions of north Devon."
The house is very comfortable and well-equipped and easily large enough for our party of five adults, baby and dog. We particularly liked the convivial kitchen-diner with French doors out onto the garden, the chic bedrooms and informal charm of it all. Saffron and Shelby were excellent, welcoming hosts with lots of information about the local area. Very happy to stay again!

"Absolutely fabulous!"
! ⭐️ What a place to stay, off the beaten track and surrounded by woodland. The perfect spot to unwind and relax but so close to all the beaches and attractions of North Devon. We had the most amazing week, relaxing and exploring Devon and the house was just the perfect place to base ourselves, a gorgeous Edwardian house with huge rooms and everything you could wish for was provided. Plus a fabulous bathroom and bath big enough to lie fully down in. I wish we could have stayed for longer. Saffron and Shelby (the owners) are great and do anything to make your stay more enjoyable. Our fur baby was greeted with treats and toys and they even provide a dog bed to make her stay as comfortable as ours. Lots of places nearby to eat, the Sawmils at the top of the road did great pub grub and the Dolphin in Combe Martin had a fabulous Sunday carvery, if you can, try the Blue Groove in Croyde their mussels are divine, so many other great cafes and eateries to choose from. Then pick up a couple of cheeky bottles of Devon cider to take back to the Woodlands and enjoy them sitting on the veranda with perfect views. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and it is definitely a place we would return too. Thank you The Woodlands/Saffron/Shelby you are super stars.⭐️
Thank you for such an amazing review and we truly appreciate it . We hope to see you all again and glad you had an amazing time. We hope the fur babies and all of you are well. Property Owner

"Our family of two adults and three teens had a wonderful stay at Woodlands House."
It's a gorgeous house, very full of character, spacious, really clean and well equipped. Our three dogs were made to feel very welcome with treats and toys and the owners were extremely helpful and good at communicating. There is lots to do in the area - surfing at Woolacombe was great, as was quad biking at Key Pitts and so many great restaurants - the Beach House in Woolacombe for fish and the Terrace Tapas Bar in Ilfracombe were two of our favourites.
Thank you for your review . We absolutely loved having you all. So glad the fur babies and everyone had a lovely time . We are improving and adding more all the time to the property as we chatted about. We look forward to seeing you all again and thank you for been such lovely guests . Property Owner
