  • "Few cobwebs around."

General dirt in kitchen, had to wipe out fridge etc kettle was full of limescale. Oven wasn’t the best & the trays need to replacing. Otherwise couldn’t fault the stay, comfy , had everything we needed for a family of 8 & a dog. Great location.

  • "Don’t normally leave reviews but on the cottage was so perfect it deserves a review!"

Cottage was well equipped, in excellent condition and everything worked perfectly. Convenient location for visits to Arne RSPB nature reserve, Lulworth and the steam train to Swanage. Lovely few days away. Although the listing says steep steps in the garden it is not clear that these are to the front of the property which makes the cottage unsuitable for people with reduced mobility.

Wool it’s self is a lovely place and we were central to all the areas we wanted to see. Definitely value for the money

  • "Very nice property with great views."

Hygiene in Kitchen was very poor. Fridge not cleaned. Previous guests food in Freezer. Dirty pots & cutlery. Oven needs a good clean. Waste food left in the bin. The rest of the property was very clean.

  • "Highbank is a superior house."

Situated in a great location. The bakery just down the street is good for a convenient breakfast before heading out. Though the steps were a bit much for my 89 yr old father in-law.

  • "This is a beautiful bungalow with everything you need , spotlessly clean."

Great views across the countryside and very close to shops and pubs. Central for visiting the area. The one negative is there are 30+ steps up to the front door which can be a problem if you are elderly or unable to negotiate steps.

  • "The property was perfect for what we needed."

A few days in Wool to attend my mothers funeral. Just two small points - it would be useful to have a cot available as we had to try locally to borrow a cot for our stay. The towels provided were a bit small (particularly the bath sheets) some better towels would be appreciated. Apart from that I would recommend the property to anyone and would certainly book it again.

  • "This cottage was absolutely perfect ."

I wanted to stay within an easy distance to Swanage , Corfe Castle , Lulworth Cove and all the other beautiful areas around this part of Dorset and Wool lived up to all of this . The actual cottage was superb and was more than I could wish for . Incredible clean with every facility that you could need to make your stay 5 star . So thank you for such a marvellous experience.
