"Great location, it was busy & at times noisy with the bus stops right outside but the fabulous view & convenient location for the beach made up for that & it was fine overall."
The flat is beautifully furnished but could now do with a thorough deep clean, especially the bathroom. I had to clean the shower & shower tray myself on arrival, it had thick black mould all around it which wasn’t very pleasant & chrome towel rail simply too dirty to use. There is small sections of damp showing on several walls which I understand is to be expected for the age of the property but a shame as the flat is so nicely modernised & decorated. The utility room is also dirty. The welcome hamper was a nice touch thank you & the sofa & beds comfortable. The kitchen is lovely & modern & very well equipped. We had an issue with the kitchen tap but Sykes fixed it the next day thank you. There was also no clothes airer, it was missing from the utility & with children & their wet beach clothes it was an essential for us, but Sykes sorted this the next day, thank you. Overall great location, very handy & stunning views. Just needs a thorough clean, especially the bathroom.

"The property location was excellent close to everything and literally 1 minute to cross over the road and we were on the beach and in the sea."
The beds were comfortable and the property was equipped with everything we needed. The property is quite compact in the main living area (smaller than I normally book) but it worked and was done to a high standard with slightly smaller furniture in the living area so everything fits. We used the washer/dryer a couple of times which was really handy, especially when beach towels etc need a refresh towards the end of the holiday. The fridge was a little small and we struggled to fit everything in it at the start of the holiday just after our food shop and some foods were touching the back of the fridge and freezing. We noticed a few cup rings on the side tables which were probably outside the owners control, but it is a shame as the furniture is nice quality and the owner provides plently of mats and coasters which me and my children used all the time to protect surfaces. The bathroom was small but nicely done but the small unit in there was starting to rust a little, this didnt at all detract but may need replacing in the future. Although street parking is very busy around the area the parking pass was a real deal breaker and I did manage to find parking reasonably easily everytime we went out and came back. I did book some back up parking just in case as Im aware of times when all parking is taken, but I didnt need to use it. The welcome pack was a wonderful surprise and very much appreciated - thankyou. The only thing that possibly could be improved at the property is the blinds. It has beautiful white slat wooden blinds, clearly very extensive, however these are really heavy to pull up when it's hot and you want to open the windows, it also looks like previous guests have tangled up or shortened some of the cords so they are very high to reach. Also they don't provide blackout and as soon as dawn arrives (5pm onwards) the light streams in through the slats and sides, so my children in the double room at the front were awake too early and towards the end of the holiday we had to swap rooms and put them in the double at the back which was a little more shaded. The downside of such a central location was that there was quite a lot of noise on some evenings from revellers on the sea front but also from the pub at the back, but because we'd had such busy full days we managed to shut it out and slept OK and it's to be expected in such a prime location. All In all it's a good holiday home done to a high standard and the location absolutely makes it. Thanks for a nice stay.

Very nicely furnished and comfortable flat. We did have problems with leaving the key in the outside safe. Maybe it was just us!
