"Delightful comfy cottage in a beautiful peaceful setting."
Very dog friendly, and Leesa is the perfect host, available if needed but never intrusive. Plenty to see and do in the area.

"Thank you so much for a fantastic break at Rhode Acres."
Such a beautiful location, the cottage was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The facilities covered everything we needed and the local restaurants and pubs provided us with some delicious food. Our overwhelming memory will be the peacefulness of our stay which allowed us to relax and enjoy the surroundings. I cannot find a single fault with our mini break at this delightful cottage and hope to be able to return again with our dog in the not too distant future.

"An idyllic, peaceful retreat in a beautiful location."
The owners were very kind, helpful and friendly, but also not intrusive. A great location for exploring Dorset. Highly recommended.

"This was our first stay at Rhode Acres, it was a very pleasant and peaceful stay and the owner was extremely friendly and helpful but never intrusive."
It was well equipped and the fact that there was no sink was made clear in the cottage’s description before we booked, it didn’t cause us a problem. I would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful cottage for a very peaceful holiday.

"Very comfortable with lovely south facing outside seating/garden."
Good Wi-Fi and TV. Although I was aware that there were no cooking facilities or sink - other than a microwave & toaster - this proved a problem as many of the local pubs were closed on Mondays & Tuesdays. Many of those did not serve food due to staffing shortages when they were open. I’m sure there are pubs serving good food but they were few & far between. In view of this I would have welcomed the chance to cook. On the plus side the whole area is beautifully unspoiled with lots of lovely walks in lovely countryside - along the river Stour & hills including spectacular Roman hill forts. Very little traffic unless you venture towards the coast.

"The property was lovely and in a very peaceful setting."
The owner couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. We had a lovely holiday. The only slight downside was the lack of a sink in the kitchen area, but we managed very well.

"I think that of all the cottages we have stayed at this has to be one of the best."
Leesa and fleur were the best hosts you could wish for and the cottage itself was so peaceful. The lack of cooking facilities was a brilliant challenge which we embraced and enjoyed looking at alternative ways of cooking. Overall we have had a holiday to always remember and will look forward to going again in the future.
Thankyou so much to you both for all of your feedback, it was a pleasure meeting you. I'm so pleased you enjoyed your stay here! Leesa & Fleur of course! Property Owner

"My husband and I were looking for a dog friendly place to stay and this was perfect."
We have a 2 and a bit year old Jack Russell cross with bundles of energy and there was plenty of safe enclosed space for him to run around in. He got on well with Leesa’s Golden Labrador Fleur

"Wonderful stay."
Bungalow was so quiet and peaceful and the area was fantastic for hill forts, walks and just amazing scenery. Leesa, the host was very attentive without ever being invasive and our dog loved playing with her dog Fleur. Plenty of great places to eat out in surrounding villages and lots of takeaways in Sturminster Newton.
