This charming Hansel and Gretel style stone cottage is situated in the Great Glen at Invergloy in the beautiful Scottish Highlands and dates back to the 1800s.

The cottage has been completely refurbished and combines quirky charm with modern style and conveniences.

Ideally situated close to a wide array of activities, this lovely cottage will suit a family or a group of friends who will enjoy spending time together in the unspoilt beauty of the Highlands.

West Lodge has three bedrooms, a double on the ground floor and the two first floor rooms which have traditional sloping cottage-style ceilings.

The kitchen/dining room is well equipped and leads through to a very spacious, yet cosy, sitting room with a welcoming woodburning stove and big comfortable sofas where guests will enjoy relaxing into at the end of an active day.

This location is perfect for an array of activities including walking, climbing, skiing, cycling and of course wildlife watching and the vibrant town of Fort William is just a short drive away.

Here, not only will you be able to climb Ben Nevis but also continue through the town and take the Corran Ferry across to the Ardnamurchan Peninsula or continue down into atmospheric Glencoe with its fabulous visitor's centre.

There is so much to do and see and this charming cosy cottage is easy to call home at the end of a busy day.

The village of Spean Bridge is set in the parish of Kilmonivaig in the beautiful Scottish Highlands. Spean Bridge earned its name from the Highbridge over the River Spean and the village today is a lovely holiday base, with transport links heading north to Inverness and south towards Fort William. The main town in the Western Highlands, Fort William lies on the banks of Loch Linnhe, and offers a wide variety of shops and pubs which serve a fine selection of meals.
