  • "Wonderful place to stay to relax and unwind, very peaceful."

Our first visit and we won't hesitate to return. Very clean and welcoming, everything you need to enjoy your stay Thank you to the owners for a great cottage Kim and Alan and our cockerpoo Dillon

  • "Lovely weeks stay at Swallow court, everything was perfect."

One point to mention do not let your dog out onto the communal grass at the back of the cottage as the neighbours will soon let you know it isn’t the done thing. There are plenty of walks near by, so it is good for dog walkers in that respect.

It was spotlessly clean and had everything and more you could wish for in a holiday home. All credit to the owners of this property.

The cottage was well equipped, clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Although away from the main town the location was a brilliant with lots in the area only a short drive away to go to.

  • "The directions we received from the owners said to turn right just after the First and Last pub."

As the name changed quite a while ago to the Curious Cat we were a bit puzzled and past it at first. Overall it was a good place to explore the area and we had a good holiday

  • "Lovely, well equipped, dog friendly accommodation in a really quiet area."

Good location for days out, found Whitstable particularly enjoyable. Great pub, the Curious Cat, just a short walk from Swallow Ct! Only down side with property was the foot boards on beds - not good if, like me you're six foot plus!

  • "The cottage we rented was exactly what we needed as a place to stay for an extended period of time."

It catered to all of our needs and the hosts went above and beyond our expectations with their dog friendliness! I would most definitely recommend this place to friends and family if they want a trip to Kent as it is not only very easy to get to places, but again, the cottage was so well equipped for every bodies needs.

  • "Lovely and clean cottage."

They had thought of everything. Even provided extra towels and doggy shampoo for those muddy walks. We only used the cottage as a base to sleep this time but are definitely looking to book for longer stay.

The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped and we had a very happy stay, so much so that we booked to come back next year before we left.

  • "The cottage was marvellous in all aspects, very clean, tastefully decorated, and beautifully equipped."

I especially enjoyed having breakfast on the patio while watching our dog playing in the yard. The entire estate is extraordinary - a former home for the poor built in the middle of the 19th century that was later converted to a hospital and now has the feel of a small village with beautiful cottages. Herne Bay, Whitstable and Canterbury are easily accessible both by car and by bus. There are also many footpaths, and quite a few wonderful hikes started directly behind the cottage. The cottage is perfect for guests both with or without dogs. I highly recommend it! Mrs. Hoelscher and family, Bremen, Germany
