"The downpipe from the rear gutter, outside the rear upstairs bedroom is blocked and as a consequence water is overflowing and splashing down the wall."
The wall light nearest to the front door is prone to bouts of flickering, which suggests a loose collection. One light bulb in the ceiling of the kitchen area needs to be replaced.
Thank you very much for letting us know about these matters. This helps us keep on top of maintenance. Unfortunately, at this time of year the falling leaves to tend to block the gutters!! As soon as we were notified we arranged for the gutter to be cleared and we have also booked in for the electrics to be sorted. Once again thanks for the feedback. We hope to see you again soon! "We were very happy with the cottage, the only thing that seemed not to work perfectly were the waste bins…other people seemed to use our plastics bin for their general waste!"
Perhaps some more prominent reminders of where to put what are needed in the other cottages as well. Thank you for letting us this very well equipped cottage!

Yes, the waste bins have been a bit of a challenge lately and this is partly due to strikes by the local council, but it sounds like we need to let the neighbours know about sign-posting for their recycling bins as well.
