  • "We had a wonderful stay at your beautiful house!"

All so beautifully decorated. Perfect for our stay. It would benefit to have some more cooking utensils and a vegetable peeler. A few light bulbs were out. Thank you.

  • "We really enjoyed our stay in this charming property."

The village is nice although we didn't go into the local pubs. The cottage has a stream running to the side of it which we loved listening to at night. We had ample fuel and lighters for the log burner but take some more logs or smokeless fuel if you intend to use it more than a few times. Clitheroe is well placed for access to the Dales as well as the coast if wanting to drive and has some good restaurants. Overall a great stay in a relaxing well sized property.

  • "Great property."

Pictures a good representation. Quiet location but very close to the village centre. Landlord, staff and food at the Lower Buck superb. Property landlord really nice. Quick call after we arrived to check all was well. Stayed 2 weeks, no problems so didn’t need him after that. Would go again!

  • "43 Waddow View was a fabulous house, as expected from the images and description, however we felt a little more attention to detail should be paid."

The description said some fuel for the woodburner would be provided to begin with, backed up by a notice saying, amongst other things, "help yourself to logs, kindling, firelighters etc. Nothing was provided except a box of matches, luckily we had taken extra ourselves. We felt as though a few more baking trays or roasting tins could be provided. One last thing was that in one bedroom a lovely ceiling light, very ornamental, had 3 bulbs not working. Other than these things the house was lovely, would definitely return, hopefully in the warmer months to enjoy the lovely seating area outside. Lovely village, 3 excellent pubs and lots of walks on the doorstep. One such river walk that takes you into Clitheroe highly recommended to enjoy the Bowland Brewery Beer Hall, adjoining food hall, plush cinema, small bowling alley all on site - get the bus back to Waddington. A lovely house but need those finishing touches to get 5 stars.

  • "We absolutely loved the property !"

!!! Even better than the pictures I must say. We were expected with bread, whole milk (delicious), eggs, and filter coffee, so a BIG THANK YOU to the owner for his gesture! Surroundings are stunning also, and the whole area is beautiful ! There is a playground nearby (which made my son very happy), shops (Tesco, Aldi, Lidl) within 7 minutes driving, and a few pubs. Will definitely return to this property ! Highly recommended

  • "This property is beautiful and most comfortable with everything we needed."

A welcome pack was gratefully received. We Wish we could have stayed another week!! We found it very relaxing which is just what we needed. The position of the house is perfect for walking to the local pubs/eateries and there is a cafe which is worth a visit too. Clitheroe itself can be reached with a short drive or a good walk. So many places to visit, so a good base. We had a fabulous meal in the coach and horses, Bolton by Bowland. Overall a fantastic week, lots of places to visit and a lovely home to return to each day, what more can we ask for? We will definitely stay at 43 Waddow view again. Thank you.
