Very clean and tidy on arrival Lovely hot tub well maintained - somebody came each day to top it up and add the required chemicals Beautiful location Loo seat a bit wonky Would’ ve liked a visitors information book and a few little welcome gifts would’ve been a lovely added touch Overall lovely place and we enjoyed a great holiday Would recommend and would love to return Thank you

  • "Warm lodge with plenty hot water for showers etc."

Hot tub was great addition however if you don’t plan to use turn it off as noisy operation 24 hrs a day. Lodge needs major maintenance, shower tray cracked, door frames rotten, dining seating dirty and foam flat, wardrobe door hinge requires fixing. Bathroom extraction fan inoperable may account for mould on wall. Decking slippy and requires cleaning. More of a site issue, trees need cutting back to allow parking. Disappointed overall as not what I would have expected being rated as 4 star.

  • "A great lodge in a fantastic location."

We stayed over Christmas and was just what we needed this year to have family together in a peaceful setting.

  • "It was a lovely stay."

Unfortunately we had a power cut on our first night though, the light above the hot tub isn’t working either so with it being winter and getting dark early this wasn’t good as you need a light really. You also need either a pair of scissors or a pizza cutter. Thanks!

Recommend staying at Lord Landless lodge having the hot tub was a great addition and this was checked daily by the on-site team for cleanliness and any issues throughout the duration of our stay.

Lodge really needs some maintenance, sofas need a good clean, cutlery desperately needs replacing as do the dining chairs, one of the chair legs is hanging off and is dangerous.

  • "A beautiful lodge."

Really liked the posh dog bed, so did our pooch Barney! A massive plus is that the lodge is opposite the club house which is very handy. The lodge is taste fully decorated and the beds were very comfy. The hot tub is fantastic!!! Couple of improvements that could easily be implemented: 3 more chairs for the ourdoor area more than 3 glasses for drinking water baking sheets to cook pizzas etc.. on the cutlery is quite flimsy to eat with We would definitely come back and stay at the lodge. The location was fine but the cabin could do with updating, the toaster did not work, the fridge freezer was small and no compartments on the inside front door, only 2 chairs provided outside which had not been cleaned, the overhang from the trees needs cutting back and it would have helped if fly screens were fitted to the patio doors as the lodge gets flooded with midges/mossies etc
