  • "The bungalow was very nice and spacious the beds were comfortable apart from the pillows they were to thin and wasn't comfortable at all the general cleanliness of the place was clean apart from when we were cleaning up after ourselves we moved the sofa and there was dust and fluff under it."

..the lamps and the mirror in the master bedroom was dusty was disappointed that wasn't informed that someone had access to the property to cut the grass while we were away from the property..

Lots of places to visit near by and lovely walks around the cottage, pub really close with nice food, if you wanted a special meal walk down to Nineteen57 you won’t be disappointed.

The only thing that we felt could be improved upon was the quality of the towels.

  • "Riverside is very clean and well equipped."

It is a big bungalow with lots of space for everyone plus the sofas and beds are very comfortable. Good kitchen and utility room. The gardens are beautiful well kept and secure for our dogs which makes such a difference. The owner responded promptly when I contacted him with a request before the holiday which was appreciated. The beaches and hills are wonderful. Good food at the Ysgethyn Inn and the Victory Inn Llanbedr with friendly service in both. Victory Inn best for the Vegan in the party as there is a good choice and she wasn’t served the usual small vegan meal , our great granddaughter had fun with other children in the play area there so she also enjoyed the visit. Hope to book Riverside again

A fantastic spotlessly clean property it had everything you could possibly need in a beautiful location , I can’t emphasise how lovely and clean the bungalow is , it did have a very steep driveway but there was a parking space at the side , would definitely come back

  • "As my mother is disabled it would have been better to have a handle in the shower for her to feel a bit more comfortable about not slipping."

Parking on the rear drive was not possible as the slope and the steps down were not possible for her. The front parking was ok but a dropped kerb would be even better. Apart from that we were delighted with the bungalow and enjoyed our stay there which was very relaxing. We would definitely recommend this holiday let.

  • "We absolutely loved our stay at Riverside."

The bungalow is huge and all the rooms are very spacious, and well fitted out. The garden was secure so my large dog had a good holiday too. We arrived on a Sunday, and having read the welcome pack I knew I had to put the bins out from the previous week. This involved dragging four wheelie bins up the very steep driveway, and in the end I could only manage three as they were very heavy. That said, it wouldn't put me off visiting again and we probably will. Two other slight niggles were 1. The hot tap in the kitchen was hardly running and we had to boil the kettle for washing up. 2. The LG TV doesn't have Freeview channels on it, which my elderly father missed.

  • "Beautiful home, very well equipped, great welcome pack for humans as well as the dogs, we loved the location by the river, a totally relaxing quiet holiday away from it all which was needed, beach close by, personal preference would have been a bigger bed in the main bedroom, garden was secure for the dog's so we didnt have to worry about them escaping, we would love stay again."

Thank you so much for your 5* review, glad the dogs enjoyed the welcome pack! We look forward to welcoming you all back again soon. Property Owner

  • "The bungalow is excellently well appointed with all you need to support self catering."

The property was also extremely clean and fresh. The position was great for day trips travelling up or down the coast or into the mountains. We missed the note about putting the bins out on a Monday so it would be good that this was perhaps a separate postcard message and maybe provided in the details on the booking or perhaps stickers on the kitchen bin . When we arrived we were looking for Riverside Cottage but there is no signage with this name. So it may be helpful for this name to be clearly visable from the road. The gardens are very well maintained. All in all a good time had. Thank you.

Thank you so much for your 5* review and taking the time to offer feedback, the new sign has been ordered and will be up shortly! We hope to see you again soon. Property Owner
