  • "We stayed at Mavis Bank with family ranging from 4 months upto 65, and it was perfect!"

The space was brilliant especially the kitchen/family space where we spent most of our time whilst at the house. The selection of toys and books for the kids was great, the bedrooms comfortable, the garden and sauna also a brilliant space and ideal being so close for walks across to Aden park. We spent a day at Haddo House and also went to McDuff aquarium during our visit. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again, and recommend to others.

  • "Had a lovely time at Mavisbank with family & friends over New Year."

The house was warm on arrival and the welcome pack was such a nice touch. The house is beautiful, spacious and very well equipped. We all loved it. We didn’t get to sample the garden or outside sauna due to the weather but plan to remedy that in June as we’ve already booked up again. There is also a beautiful country park close by which we were able to visit on New Year’s Day. In summary, a great house and would thoroughly recommend! The owner, Morag was also very helpful.

  • "What a fantastic house Mavisbank is."

A great garden for the kids and dogs to play in safely. Also the outdoor seating was a lovely treat on a warm evening. The house itself was cosy and very welcoming, with loads of space for adults and kids, with great facilities available in the bathrooms, bedrooms and a well catered for kitchen. Location is great too, with the country park across the road for dog walks, and visits to the play park and museum.

We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful garden. The welcome pack was much appreciated by all. We had an interesting visit to the farming museum in Aden country park, just across the road and enjoyed walks with the dogs to Pitfour lakes. Thank you to Morag for being such a wonderful host. We hope to come back soon!

Fantastic house, the pictures on the website do not do it justice. Our family had an amazing, relaxing time it almost felt like my home (I wish lol). Getting ready to book again for next year, I cam see this becoming my annual retreat! It was well equipped for people and dogs and there are some lovely beaches to visit all within 20 minutes. Also a great country park across the road. We would highly recommend Mavisbank if you are looking to stop in this area.

  • "The property was beautiful and very comfortable, it did take us a day to get to grips with the quooker tap and another day to find the controls for the extractor fan."

Maybe the instruction booklet could be on display so found easier rather than on the shelf. Our only other issue was with the very thick pillows. Very luxurious but too deep for sleep. We really did enjoy our stay.

Such a well equipped, clean, spacious house, ideal for family generational get together. The garden was the ideal spot to relax in, very private and lots of space for the dogs to run around in. Lovely walks from the property and deer spotted in the garden in the evenings. Owners have thought of everything.

The house has everything you need for your stay. The only thing is there is a lack of instructions for the hob which is induction and we had no clue and had to Google how to use it! So some step by step instructions would be great for that otherwise great house! Morag also very helpful :)

  • "This is a beautiful house with a magnificent garden."

The house had so many facilities especially for families. The owners had thought of everything for users comfort. Only slight problem was we could have done with step by step instructions on how to work hot tap and modern cooker and had to revert to you tube to find out how it works BUT besides that we had a wonderful time in a wonderful property with plenty of space for all. and the sauna was a luxury. So good young grandson did not want to leave the house to go home.

I would easily stay here again and I have recommended this property to my family and friends.
