"Excellent, well equipped cottage in a beautiful location."
"Everything about our stay was perfect - the warm welcome from Paul and Caroline, the cottage was spotless, homely and well equipped, the location was stunning - we drove out to various locations but were always most impressed by the natural beauty around the cottage."
Thanks to the thoughtful information pack in the cottage we walked to the disused copper mine and swam in the natural pool. Highly recommend this property and hope to return!

We had a relaxing stay with our 7 month old. The setting is idyllic and the road provided a lovely walking path for us and our little one. Really helpful and friendly hosts. We would love to come back

Really comfortable, log burner was amazing. Hadn’t played ‘Scene It’ before, we’re hooked now! Good fun. The setting of the cottage is stunning, great for walking & enjoying the silence. We’ll definitely be back, loved it.
"My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our week at Paul and Caroline’s cottage."
The cottage was spotless, the fittings were of a very high standard and the setting gorgeous. We never got tired of looking out at the surrounding countryside. Because the cottage was off the beaten path, it was extremely quiet at night- exactly what we wanted. We would highly recommend staying here.
"Melinda Bach is a beautiful stone cottage set amidst the hills and mountains of North Wales."

"My husband and I had a very enjoyable stay here at Melin Bach, Paul and Caroline were fantastic hosts and were there if you needed anything."
It is in a great area of Snowdonia to explore the stunning countryside. Will definitely recommend and it was also perfect for our dog Monty too. Great walks.
"Melin Bach is a perfect cottage in an amazing location for those who want to spend time away from everything, beautiful location and our Hosts Paul and Caroline were amazing and couldn't do enough for us."
"What an incredible stay!"
The surroundings are breath taking and the cottage was the perfect retreat. Waking up in the gorgeous cosy bedroom was such a treat, I really cant recommend enough. Caroline and Paul were superb hosts and have created a very special place. We will be back.... asap!
"Melin Bach cottage exceeded all of our expectations and more."
The cottage is newly renovated so has all the modern amenities you could want, but keeps the charm in bucket loads. It was so nice to go on long walks in the mountains and return home to the huge roaring log fire. Caroline and Paul could not have been more helpful and did everything they could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They even leant us a lasagne dish! If you like mountains, you have to only look out the window to be surrounded on all sides by the snowdonia countryside. Peacefull and tranquil but at the same time in a perfect location to explore the Snowdonia area. We will be back! David and Charlotte
"I had a wonderful weeks holiday at this beautiful cottage."
It is in a lovely & peaceful location but with easy access to so many things to do in this part of the world. I took my dog who loved the outside space. The cottage was really cosy, clean and comfortable and Paul & Caroline were great hosts. I would definitely recommend this cottage and hope to go back again.
"Idyllic location, lovely hosts, can’t wait to go back again"
"We had a wonderful holiday and would highly recommend the property, it was in such a beautiful loacation away from it all."
Both Paul and Caroline were so helpful and friendly, we would definitely go back and stay again. I would also recommend the staff at Sykes cottages, after initially booking with a different company and arriving at our accomadation dissapointed we had nowhere to stay, I phoned Sykes up and the lady(Kate I think) sorted everything out, we also spoke to other lady who was also so friendly and helpfully, again I would book through this company again.
