It is in a great location sat between conway and llandudno (ten minutes each way)The house was spotless and very well equiped, comphy beds and plenty of storage. The log fire was great for chilly evenings. As a dog owner i found the local dog walkers very friendly and came from locations all over britain. We would love to return for another stay at hilltops.

  • "What a lovely property, probably the best we have stayed in."

Spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds and a secure, floodlit garden for our dog. Appreciated the heating being on when we arrived and the welsh cakes and milk. Loved the log burner. Would highly recommend this property but sadly we won't be able to return as it will be a dog free property from August next year.

Sarah, many thanks for your feedback and i am really pleased you enjoyed staying at the property and i do hope you return. I did consider making the property pet free from next August however the property will continue to take pets into the future. I have informed Sykes and they have taken the notice down. I do hope you return again. Property Owner

The dryer on the washer dryer was not getting hot that caused a bit of an issue that was the only thing everything else was perfect

Thank you for your comments and so sorry the dryer was not working. The dryer is only 1 year old. I have arranged for an engineer to call and fix the problem. Apologies for any inconveniences caused. The Zanussi dryer has now been fixed 9 October 2023. Property Owner

Thank you for your feedback, it is very important to me that I do receive feedback from guests. I will raise your feedback with the cleaner and make sure the property maintains the standard of cleaning I require which is no cobwebs, spotlessly clean, including the fridge and cooker. • "The owners have provided virtually every conceivable gadget, utensil and facilitiy to make our stay as comfortable and convenient as possible."

We have previously stayed in a number of rented holiday cotrages/houses in Wales and this place ticks all the boxes and more! What a fabulous, clean and well presented/located holiday getaway and within short distance to all local places of interest. The house has WiFi and Sky TVs in every bedroom and lounge and the beds are all very comfortable and prepared with fresh linen. Especially good was the flood lit and secure garden where our pooch could play and be safe at all times. We strongly recommend this wonderful house and will definitely be re-booking again in the future. Thank you so much.

  • "Hilltops was an ideal property to accommodate our family, we were 3 generations, ranging from 89 years to 7 years."

The ground floor bedroom worked well for my Mother. The thought gone into the furnishings, bedding etc makes Hilltops a very comfortable home from home stay. We all had a lovely week. Would recommend the property. Information in the folder is a little sparse, more information to include use of Tv's (we are not familiar with tv working through Sky) central heating and to let people know that you need to fill the water container in the fridge to feed to ice and cold water dispenser on the freezer door. Disappointed not to have had a welcome pack after a 6 and a half journey. Booking via Sykes Holiday Cottages was easy and will use again. Over all a great place to stay.

  • "Really good property in a really nice area and so good on location for amenities."

Makes a nice walk into Conwy or elsewhere in the vicinity and good location to start for seeing the whole area. Comfortable with good TV and very comfy bed. We were only a couple staying for a week so we had loads of space. Can't really comment how it would be with 6 people but the kitchen is great and cooked every evening. On 01 April so not really the weather to use the garden; but nice sliding door to it, so better weather would have more room i feel.

About the location

DEGANWY

Conwy 2 miles; Llandudno 3.5 miles.

The town of Deganwy, on the banks of the River Conwy at the mouth of the Estuary, is a very popular holiday destination. Deganwy has a marina, a small selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, and retains the ruins of Deganwy Castle, built in 1082 but later demolished. There is an abundance of activities to suit all interests on offer in this area; from sea fishing, walking and climbing in the Snowdonia range to enjoying the castles, mines, beaches and gardens of this beautiful stretch of the North Wales Coast. Deganwy is only a few miles from the holiday resorts of Conwy and Llandudno; Conwy boasts a medieval castle, town walls and a marina, plus winding streets which offer something for shoppers and diners alike. Llandudno was very popular during the Victorian era, and this is evident in the architecture and the very impressive promenade. The town also has a pier with family attractions, a theatre and for the more adventurous, a dry ski slope! Between Deganwy, Llandudno and Conwy, this area has so much to offer the entire family.
