  • "Cottage overall was very nice, lovely and clean & a nice welcome pack was left by the owners."

However people with mobility issues may find the two sets of stairs a bit difficult.Great location for exploring the island.

  • "Property is in a good place for touring the island."

It was well equipped, clean and comfortable. Appreciated the welcome pack of milk, bara brith, tea, coffee & sugar sachets Stairs to lower bedroom are quirky, first step larger than others, husband and I both have some mobility problems, but we managed. Good communication with owners. Had a Keysafe, so ease of receiving/leaving key.

Thank you Sue for your upbeat take on our quirky cottage-parts of which are very much original, like the exposed stone wall! It is lovely being in Moelfre centre & yet have easy access to the rest of Anglesey. Really glad you both had a good week staying at Pedlars Pack. P&R Property Owner

  • "Our stay in Pedlars Pack was perfect from start to finish."

The cottage was warm, clean and comfortable and had everything needed for a great stay. The views of Moelfre Bay from the living room window were ideal for our morning cuppa! The location of the Cottage is a stones throw from the Bay, a short walk to Ann's Pantry and the Kinmel Arms pub. Both recommended. The attention to detail inside the cottage makes for a very restful stay. The colours echoing the seaside appeal of Anglesey. Me, my husband and my mother enjoyed our stay veryuch and would definitely return! ❤️ Amanda, Stephen & Barbara

  • "Pedlar's Pack was amazing; Sykes Cottages are truly awful."

We'd love to come back again but we'll try to find the same cottage on a different booking site. Our feedback for Pedlar's Pack: The property was spotless on arrival, and the owners have clearly put a lot of time and effort into making sure we had everything we need (for example, we loved the fact that the TV disappears into the cabinet at the touch of a button, for a great view of the sea!) The house has 3 floors and feels spacious with a nice little enclosed yard which was a sun trap in the afternoon. We've been coming to Moelfre for many years and this was a brilliant location. The parking space takes a bit of practice and I think most visitors will probably use the car park across the road, but we'd have no hesitation in staying here again. Our feedback for Sykes Cottages: if there was an award for the Worst Customer Service, Sykes would surely win first prize. A simple query took 3 months to resolve (11 phone calls and countless unanswered emails and WhatsApp messages) and made the whole experience unnecessarily stressful. I think Sykes will lose customers if this continues.

We’re so pleased you enjoyed your stay at our bolthole by the sea. And that you appreciated the ‘disappearing’ TV…so you could see the sea Property Owner

Super pictures on the walls. Beautiful light fittings. Good quality furniture and comfortable bed. The cottage has obviously had so much care and attention placed there. It was good that the heat came on morning and evening we so appreciated that. Some days were colder than others. We enjoyed our stay it was good to be within short walking distance to the pub, harbour and shop. A great place to stay.

Lovely to read you positive holiday experience. Thank you for your generous comments on Pedlars Pack cottage, we look forward to welcoming you if you wish to return to Moelfre in future. P&R Property Owner

  • "This is a lovely cottage in a good location- clean, comfortable & well equipped."

However, anyone with mobility issues will find the 2 sets of steep stairs rather challenging e.g. we couldn’t use the rear courtyard (which was lovely) as we dared not carry hot drinks down the steep stairs. Our main problem was parking at the rear of the property as it was virtually on a concrete platform with very little room to manoeuvre. Fortunately there was a large (free) council run carpark across the road at the back which was fine.

We appreciate your positive feedback and comments about clearer labelling in our Sykes property description. We shall ensure these are reflected as soon as possible. P&R PS thank you also for the lovely message you left at the property…it makes it all worthwhile! Property Owner

  • "We had a lovely stay and the cottage was very pleasant and clean etc."

The owner was also really helpful and responsive. Unfortunately the WiFi was intermittent and both the telephone and TV signals were very poor but obviously this was outside of owners control. The layout of the front room was not really suitable for 4 people interacting or watching TV (the picture on the site does not show where the TV is which would have been helpful). The downstairs bedroom was very nice and spacious with good storage but the upstairs bedroom had no storage and the tiny closet was not ample for even one persons clothes etc (and actually had a hoover in it). It wouldn't take a lot to turn this into excellent accommodation!

Well equipped and really suited us as two couples staying with 2 ensuite bathrooms. Great location, loved the little village the cottage was situated in. Only suggestion for improvement would be somewhere to dry wet clothes if raining outside. Moelfre has good places to eat and a great ice cream parlour! As a family of 4 with 2 kids it was easy to keep the kids occupied, just be aware that it is 2 double beds. Ours bunked up in the larger bed downstairs and were fine.

It's perfect for two couples with the two en suites. From the description/images, we were not expecting a microwave, so having one was a bonus. Also we were not expecting room for four to sit outside, but actually there's a large table with plenty of room to sit out in the charming sunny courtyard for a meal. The only thing lacking is a dishwasher but I can't see how one could be fit in! The location is perfect, right in the heart of Moelfre, close to Ann's Pantry, the shop and the pub (also not far to the great fish and chip shop!) It's only a few metres to the pebble beach and lovely coastal walks, with a sandy beach great for swimming only a couple of miles away. Alot of thought has gone into it's styling and design. All amenities so close by including the regular bus service at the back of the cottage and only a 5 minute walk to join the coastal foot path. Just 2 small points; for older clients the addition of a grab rail in both showers would seem necessary. Also both front and back doors could be tricky to open. Thank you for your lovely feedback and note about the front door, it is a snug fit.
