  • "Absolutely loved Eaton House."

It was everything we expected and more. It was perfect, had everything we wanted, spotlessly clean and smelled gorgeous. We enjoyed our short stay so much that we were gutted when it was time to leave. We are hoping to stay for a weekend in summer next!!x

  • "Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

So many lovely touches around the house. Super comfortable bed and lots of luxurious additions. Only negative was that previous guests had apparently removed the pizza/baking trays! Sad that some people can’t respect the property of others…

  • "We had an amazing stay at Eaton House."

The house was fantastic and felt homely with little extras that we loved like the little wooden mouse door on front room door and the little wooden mouse on another door. We didn’t use the front room as it was just lovely sitting in the extended kitchen area looking out at the garden. Bed was really comfy with a quilt that hugs you. We had an Indian from the local restaurant which was good. The house is suitably located to get to a few different places to sight sea. You must try Mr Moos for ice cream sundaes they are amazing. We would definitely book again. Absolutely loved everything about the house, location and surrounding towns., Thank you x

Thank you Beverley, for your excellent review, we are very pleased that you enjoyed your time at Eaton House. We always try to prepare the house so our guests are comfortable, relaxed and want for nothing, a home from home. It is very reassuring for us to get such positive feed back. Thank you for taking the time to write this review, it is very much appreciated. Kind regards Lisa & Jules x Property Owner

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Eaton House."

This house has been furnished to the highest standard and has everything that you could possibly need. The house is beautiful and in a really great location for the beach, a local bakery/butchers, local shop and most importantly for the younger members of the family, Mr Moos ice cream shop! The owners have been so helpful and friendly and nothing has been too much trouble. The welcome basket was brilliant too as we were all a little peckish when we arrived. We can't recommend this house enough and can't wait to come back again next year.

Thank you David, for taking the time to write this review and for the wonderful assessment you have given. We are so pleased that you had such a great stay at Eaton House and that you enjoyed your time in East Yorkshire, it really does have a lot to offer and has plenty of things to do whatever the weather. We do try very hard to prepare the house in a way that caters for all of our guests and we are pleased that you were completely satisfied. Once again, thank you and kind regards. • "The property is fabulous."

There was everything we needed provided, and the “welcome pack” was brilliant. The hosts were very proactive, and a minor issue was resolved very swiftly. We were a party of 6 adults and 2 children. The children (aged nearly 7 and just turned 5) loved the property and spent hours in imaginary games in the garden. The weather was great so we ate out in the garden a couple of times - and the provision of a large, undercover table with chairs was great. All in all one of the best holiday homes we have stayed in.

Thank you Bruce, for the very positive review and we are very pleased that you and your family had such a lovely time. Particularly important to us, is that our guests have a stress free stay and that everything is done to prepare the house for a wonderful holiday. We were able to resolve the minor issue quickly and we hope this didn't cause you too much irritation. We hope that you return to East Yorkshire sometime in the future. • "We had such an amazing time at Eaton House."

It is by far the best property we have ever stayed in! The house is finished to such a high standard with everything we could have possibly needed. When we arrived we were welcomed with a beautiful hamper full of lots of lovely things for our first night. The house is super dog friendly and the dog treats which were left were enjoyed by our dogs Bella and Ralph! The garden is gorgeous and we enjoyed sitting out and enjoying the peace and quiet in the sunshine. Even when raining there is a lovely uncover area with comfortable seating and even blankets if cold! The owners really have thought of everything! We will definitely be returning to this beautiful house in the future! We are so happy that we found it!

Thank you very much Andy for the wonderful review. We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay at Eaton House and that everything was to your liking. We are constantly trying to give our guests the perfect holiday and it is very reassuring for us to receive such positive feedback. We very much look forward to you returning in the future. It’s a real shame the description of the inside of the property do not match up to what’s actually in the property as it’s a fantastic property with everything you could wish for and more but the description describes a 2 bedroom property without a washer and dishwasher which it actually has and also has 3 ovens which are brilliant for large groups and is well worth its money

Thank you Jason for your review. I am very pleased to see that you were extremely satisfied with the Property and its facilities and that you really enjoyed your stay. It is a shame that your numerical rating reflected and issue which was with Sykes Cottages and not the property itself. I can only apologise for the inaccuracies of the the description of the property. Clearly this is an issue with Sykes Cottages and one which I will deal with ASAP. Property Owner

The small linear village of Beeford lies in the Yorkshire Wolds betwixt Driffield, Bridlington and Hornsea - yet within 10 miles of Beverley. The two main streets are lined with a mixture of old and modern properties. There is Post Office, butcher's shop, a pub and a fish and a chip shop.
