"We had a lovely stay."
Well kept site near a pub and shops. The cottage was good for our requirements. You get a parking space which is good. Very quiet we got a good nights sleep. Good location for all towns and beaches. It is dog friendly so there was a smell which wasn’t a problem for us as we had dogs but maybe a problem for someone without a pet. Staff were nice and very helpful thank you

"Lovely cottage all on one level."
Was very clean and well equipped with everything you need . The grounds surrounding are very well maintained and the lady at reception is friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be booking again as it’s in a lovely spot peaceful and quiet.

"Wow what a gem - surpassed my expectations."
Cottage perfect for my stay with my 2 grandchildren and 2 dogs. Facilities in cottage brilliant as we're the on-site ones too. Definitely a place to recommended and return to .

"Beautiful, peaceful setting, cottages are fab, everything you need, very comfy and spotless, came here last year and loved it that much, we booked again this year, and we've booked again for 2024!"
There's areas for camping and tourers, play area for the children, large lake for fishing. Bar and shop. The area is kept immaculate by the owners who live on site, ten minute walk into Hunmanby, locals are so friendly and there's lots of places nearby eg: Filey, Scarborough, Brid etc. Would definitely recommend.

"The cottage had everything we required and was very comfortable."
Set in a secluded pretty garden shared only by the five other cottages. On our arrival everything was clean and ready for use, though the fridge door handle had crumbs in it and we came across many cobwebs in various places. We didn't use the red provided tea towels as they left a red fluffy residue over everything. There was not an iron, though maybe if we'd asked we could have got one fro reception. None of this deterred from a great stay. There is a cosy little pub on site with comparable prices to other places which includes an extensive whisky bar. All staff were welcoming and friendly, always available for enquiries and regularly around the site. It was lovely and quiet and pitch black in the bedrooms at night so a good sleep was had by all. We enjoyed our stay and certainly would stay at Orchard farm again.

"Nice clean cottage with tv and heating, that kept the open plan of the kitchen/living area warm."
Only concern was the step outside the front door. The top step was not level and caused a trip hazard for my father who is partially sighted. The ramp was used from then on, but definitely something that we think should be looked at.

"We really enjoyed our stay in Orchid."
I don't think we were short of anything we needed. Beautiful site and staff very friendly and accommodating.

"Couldn't do better,"
-
"You said the swimming pool was not open so we thought it would open after the 19th but in fact there's not been a pool for years."
You should not advertise a pool . The oven dishes and pans were filthy so they brought us new ones. The cottage was very pretty but the furniture was hard with low backs and we couldn't get comfortable at all. We will not go back there because of lack of comfort.

"Most enjoyable and handy for Filey and the nearby village."
-
"Cottage needs upgrading, 1 Bottle Flash NO cleaning clothes."
Kettle leaks Badly. No Salt &Pepper don't give Covid as excuse. Couches look lovely Springs are Done and very uncomfortable. Hoover not working. No Airer or Drying area. No place for dogs outside cottage unless tied to wooden seat. We would like to say that Ann at Reception was very helpful and gave us lots of information. A very lovely lady.

"The cottage is in desperate need of refurbishment wich I believe it is getting done ."
The 2 two seater sofas were realy uncomfortable. Bathroom realy needs a lot of attention. But beds were very comfortable and ann from reception is a realy friendly lady .also there is a smell of damp as you walk in to cottage. But even with all this we would still go bk and deffentley wen the cottages have been refurbished. The surrounding area is beautiful and so near to some lovely pubs for food

"This is a lovely holiday village near the sea and a walk to the village, people were very friendly and helpful."
-
"The sofas were uncomfortable would have been nice to have some cushions on them other than that it was lovely"
-
"The wi-fi kept breaking up but everything else was very good."

"We stayed at the cottage for two nights."
The welcome was fantastic, wonderful lady in reception. The cottage was wheelchair friendly as requested and the rooms well ventilated, large and comfortable. The cottage was clean and definitely followed social distancing. There was a slight damp smell in the cottage, which was a little off putting, but we were very happy with the facilities and the care shown by the host. We will defiantly return and recommend this cottage.
