The property is beautiful and full of character. The pool table was an added bonus. Staff were super responsive. There was also a nice complimentary gift of 2 Prosecco bottles when we arrived which was a thoughtful touch. Would definitely recommend and would like to return again.

  • "An absolutely stunning place to stay, A huge Manor House with beautiful grounds, with a small play area to the front housing a slide, swings and trampoline and a huge grassed area, where rabbits congregate in the early mornings, and there is a multitude of birds mulling around, from gold crest to pheasant."

The surrounding area is beautiful, it’s views are amazing, even its early morning mists are awesome to watch disappear revealing the blue sky and sunshine. there are so many places within driving distance too, like Bamburough and Seahouses or Alnwick. The use of pool room and a dartboard in the house is great for everyone too, All 10 Of us enjoyed a Darts knockout on the last night and a great laugh. We had planned our own quiz nights, and games night ahead of our visit. We watched less Tv and played less on our phones and iPads than we have in ages.. The Manor House is an experience in itself, the kitchen is such a homely place with a huge table to congregate at for meals or there is a large dining room too. There is every appliance thinkable for the kitchen, and every pot, pan, utensil or piece of cutlery that you could ever use right there for you. Its rooms including all bedrooms too, are all more than adequately furnished, and decorated and are so comfortable, beautiful arm chairs and sofa’s. The 3 bathrooms are well cared for and very clean, one of them is also home to a shower. There is also a downstairs toilet too which can come in quite handy. The sitting rooms are so homely, and every where is well heated by what has to be a strong heating system, as this place is huge, but you can have a real fire in the fire place if you wish which is a great touch. The manor brought me and my little family together this October, all 11 of us with an age range from 13 weeks to 67 years old.. we had an amazing weekend, and sincerely hope that the owners would have us back at some point as it’s somewhere that we really enjoyed being.. Thanks for a great experience, and a lovely welcome basket and card, a great and welcoming touch.

This was the perfect property. It is spacious with everything you could possibly need. There is plenty of outdoor space with a huge garden, outdoor furniture and park for the kids. Perfect location for exploring the Northumberland coast. We will definitely be returning in the summer months to enjoy the garden and have a barbecue or two.

  • "We had a wonderful stay, it was everything we wanted or holiday to be!"

We will absolutely be returning again. Our only issue was that the garden isn't always secure and one time our dog escaped through the gates that had been open when we weren't aware. Otherwise, the space was beautiful, the facilities great and 7 adults, 1 toddler and 1 dog had a brilliant holiday!

The house is large, beautiful, comfortable and is ideal for a large group. We were a large group of 15 comprising 4 families. The grounds are outstanding and games room was great. The office staff were helpful and responsive. Would highly recommend.
