  • "Absolutely delightful stay and can't wait to return."

Owner of property was always at hand to answer any queries we had and had the cottage warm and cosy for is upon our late arrival. Bottle of wine was, also a lovely touch. Cottage had everything we needed and the general information to local areas was great and led to is exploring more areas than we had intended.

  • "Staying in Periwinkle cottage for a week was absolutely wonderful."

Meeting Lyanne was quite timely as I was trying to find the correct cottage, she was so friendly and helpful and soon got us to where we needed to be. After arriving at the cottage we were pleasantly surprised to find all the things included in the price eg electric, fully stocked kitchen etc. There was even a welcome card and bottle of wine which was a very nice touch. It was our wedding anniversary whilst on holiday and after being out for the day we came back to the cottage to find a vase of flowers, a card and some chocolates for us which I thought was really thoughtful and a wonderful gesture. The cottage was lovely and cosy and surrounding area is beautiful, we will definitely book to go there again

  • "Periwinkle was warm, comfortable and superbly situated for exploring the beautiful Northumbrian countryside."

-------------------------------------------- This part NOT for publication: There were some visible cobwebs on the light shade in the main bedroom, the air vent in the bathroom and the shower was very difficult to maintain at a constant temperature.
