We plan to book for next Easter due to the fair price for the fantastic location, and the flat has everything we need. We did feel that compared to last year that the standard of the clean was not as good, with large cobwebs throughout the flat. It would also benefit from a new mattress / mattress topper in the main bedroom (looking toward the sea) as both of us felt it was uncomfortable this time, and there were clear dips in places where people usually sleep. We turned the mattress around to try and find some area where it was more comfortable and less dented. But like I said - very happy with the accommodation again, just a couple of things to improve that would have led to full marks.

Just a couple of points for the owner (sure they’re already aware?) The keysafe box doesn’t reset / lock and the lounge window is letting in some water…quite a bit of splashing off the edge whilst we were there (there were towels in the window when we arrived and someone did come to take a look at the outside)

The property
A pretty ground-floor apartment with a backdrop of mature trees and shrubs, Friars Court overlooks Alnmouth’s seaside scenery and welcomes you to your Northumberland family getaway with private off-road parking.
Make your way into a fantastic split-level open-plan living area, where roofbeams add a sense of history and a raised sitting area boasts countryside views and leather sofas where you can grab a book from the wide selection and a coffee and enjoy a relaxed read.

Situated just 4 miles east of Alnwick, Alnmouth is a charming resort popular with golfers and those seeking a peaceful holiday.
