“October Half Term break”

We absolutely loved our 4 night stay here and we were able to book for a reasonable price. We tried to book in again this year but it was a bit too pricey for 4 nights when we looked on holiday lettings but we will definitely return in the future. Property was perfect and very clean. Surroundings and views were amazing. Our 4 kids loved the walks in the forestry and we did some pumpkin carving in the garden too. It is definitely one of our favourite holodays.

“A really well equipped cottage in picturesque surroundings.”

Thoroughly enjoyed walks in the wooded grounds with the grassy paths. Beautiful fishing lake with ducks was the favourite walk but wish I had taken insect repellent for the walks. Best feature was the swimming pool, we used it every day. Pleasantly warm at all times and just a short walk back to the cottage in wet bathers - not a problem. My ONLY downside which dropped it a point was the dense bedding. Weird uncomfortable, solid polyester. Caused a few restless nights. That point aside a very enjoyable holiday. Thank you.

“Amazing Holiday”

What a find i wish we found this place years ago the cottage is Lush well equipped and comfortable a home from home Amazing views set in lovely grounds and walks if you want a base to explore West Wales then this is the place for you or even if you want to chill the owners live on site who will give you a great welcome then leave you to get on with your Holiday but letting you know they are there if you need anything myself and my partner and her niece and our 2 dogs went and had a great break we didnt want to come home and are looking at ournext visit i have nothing negative to say about our stay but if i can give advice take a small kitchen hamper with you i.e. salt pepper sauces cooking oil etc the local shop is a mile away then theres a Spar 5 miles one way and theres a CO OP 5 miles the other way where we got our supplies.

“Cleanliness could've been better, dust was an issue for me due to allergies.”

Also the shower doesn't work properly, a new head is needed. Cottage was nice, but a refresh of a few bits and pieces wouldn't hurt, new kitchen utensils are definitely needed. Overall had a really nice stay, pool was clean and grounds were so well kept. Staff were friendly and helpful. No problems during the stay. Would definitely stay again.

Advise if your going to book ere is take a small pantry hamperike salt pepper sauces cooking oil etc . This short break is tge Best weve ever jad i would highly recommend it

“This was the most well equipped self catering cottage I’ve ever visited.”

It was in a great location with loads to do in the area. The grounds were beautiful and the cottage was comfortable and cosy. Perfect for a countryside getaway! Visited with a 3yr old and 4yr old boy.

The nearest town is St Clears; a small town set inland between Carmarthen and the coastal resorts of the Pembrokeshire coast.
