  • "We stayed at this property about two years ago and it is still as lovely."

Very comfortable and in a good position on the site. The owners were very helpful with a small problem we had and it was soon rectified. I would definitely recommend this property. Hope to go back in the not too distant future. Thank you to the owners for all your help.

  • "We booked Dono's Lodge after being let down by cottages."

Com who through their disagreement with the owner called to say our booking was cancelled. However, having booked this lodge, it proved to be one of the best holidays we have had. The lodge is so modern, clean, spacious, wonderful decking area and perfect location for walks and drives to Wisemans Bridge, Saundersfoot, Pembroke Dock, Tenby, Fishguard. The lodge has everything you could need and more. My only slight wish would have been to have a welcome pack with some essentials as there is no shop on site but it was all in all an amazing holiday and we would love to return, thank you

  • "The lodge was spacious, comfortable and clean and most facilities were provided."

There were a few issues however, namely the lodge was centrally situated and overlooked on every side, so privacy was compromised. There was damp in one corner of a bedroom and a broken, unrepaired shelf in the living room. The most important problem was that the family bathroom had an extremely unpleasant and overpowering odour, which made it unuseable. This meant that all 3 of our party had to use one bathroom and this was extremely inconvenient over the period of our stay.

Hi Mark, Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry with the issues that you have raised above. We really hope you were still able to have a great holiday. As we were only just made aware of these problems through this review, we were unable to rectify the issues raised. We are very disappointed by this as we run the lodge with such high standards and pride. Kind Regards, Donos Lodge Property Owner

  • "Very nice place to stay with nice flat walk to pub and beach."

Just to say we found 2faults main one when I'm in the shower and someone turns on a tap I get freezing cold water, which is not good. It's not the owners fault but outside they picked the rubbish up at 5 in the morning. But apart from freezing shower it was very good.

Thank you for your feedback, I am glad that you had a nice stay at our lodge. Welcome back anytime. Donos Lodge Property Owner

The rural village of Kilgetty is situated 2.4 miles from one of the most picturesque villages in Pembrokeshire, Cresswell Quay is best described as a delightful hamlet of scattered cottages at the edge of the tidal estuary. Just a short drive from the town of Tenby and offers a selection of shops and pubs, along with its own train station. Kilgetty is central to a number of attractions, with the coastal resorts of Saundersfoot and Tenby nearby, offering fabulous beaches, watersports and boat trips to Caldey Island, the home of a small gathering of monks and their monastery.
