  • "I really did enjoy my two nights here."

The cabin was clean and cozy. Lovely gifts left for our arrival. The location is perfect for walkers as there is plenty to do within a 30 min drive. The village where the cabins are located is worth a walk along the canal too for a beer or a coffee. My reason for the trip was to stay away from Fireworks going off as I have a scared dog and this place was perfect for this. You could hear them but they were in the distance and the tv hid the noise and she was sound asleep, didn't hear them. It would have been nice if the garden area was secure, as it would have been nice to have the cabin doors open to let fresh air in the cabin as it was a lovely sunny day on one of our days there, but with two Jack Russells, I couldn't leave them open as they would have ventured off. I was surprised to how good the WIFI was in our cabin, it worked really well. Thank you for a lovely weekend, I will be looking at coming back for certain.

  • "It's a beautiful spot, clean cabin, but the problems with connectivity to WiFi are getting worse, not better."

It was also much colder this time and the heating struggled to keep up with the demand.

Oh I'm sorry you had problems with our rural WiFi - unfortunately as advertised we are set up for glamping holidays and can not guarantee full broadband speeds for conference type bookings which I know you were using us for. We have tried to cater for the relaxing holiday market in our rural location and unfortunately we do not have access to fiber connections, but we do provide amazing views and lots of fresh country air. • "Fantastic accommodation and location."

Cabin had everything we needed although we didn't use the hob and the microwave was for reheating coffee! Excellent local pub with good food and plenty of take -aways, etc in Skipton. Nice walk along the canal for as far as you are prepared to walk. The weather was on our side which is always a bonus. Slept well, partly due to all the exercise (dog included) and extremely comfy bed. Hope to visit again in the not too distant future.

  • "In a lovely location, very private and quiet."

We loved the walk along the canal and river. Would have been nice to see the view of the valley from the pod. We had everything we needed in the pod and were very comfortable. Thank you Nina .

Hazel so glad you had a lovely relaxing break ! We’ve tried our best to make the pods as private as possible and we had a planning condition that we had to screen the front of the pods with trees to blend them into the landscape. Glad you got to enjoy some of of our amazing views from around the farm x Property Owner

  • "Outstanding property, view and location."

The owners have done an excellent project building 6 wooden hobbit home on their land where the rare breed animals can be seen wondering around. The cabins are comfortable and are equipped well, including a barbecue which we used quite a few time whilst there. The walk down to the canal may be difficult for the elderly but it is easy to drive to the tow path to walk. Ideal location for visiting different areas including the Lake district. Well done Nina and Co. We will be returning.

It was so lovely to meet you and so glad you had such a wonderful time! Really looking forward to seeing you again soon! Yes the walk down the farm track to the canal and pub does keep you fit - it is short but it is on a slope. The Dales are beautiful but there are hilly! Loved our chat by the pig field, great to meet such lovely people x Property Owner

  • "What a fantastic place."

I stayed 27th of December - 2nd of January My stay was very comfortable and I stayed as a single adult with two border collies. There’s everything you need in the cabin and more just in case. I did bring throws to cover furniture due to having my dogs and they definitely came in use. Fantastic surroundings and fantastic views from each cabin which are well spaced apart to provide you with your own little world. Supermarkets are pretty close to shop for those things you need you may have forgot. The little welcome pack was a fantastic surprise and well appreciated. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and just relax you need to just try this and I’m sure you’ll come again. Would definitely recommend and I’ll definitely be back again very soon.

Oh Paul thank you for the wonderful feedback! so glad you got to spend New Year with us and got to enjoy our beautiful countryside and amazing walks. Looking forward to seeing you and your beautiful dogs again soon. With love Nina xx Property Owner

  • "Nina is lovely and could not do enough to help settle us and our two dogs Marley & Rogue, into Hare pod."

A welcome pack of wine, cake and biscuits then we found she had also supplied milk, tea& coffee! The farm is in a nice area within very short walking distance of the canal. Just 20 minutes walk (five minutes by car)along the tow path to a good local pub that does excellant meals and is dog friendly. Skipton is approx four miles away by car.

Oh Sarah it was so lovely to meet you and your dog family! what beautiful dogs you have. So glad we had a chat before you came about your dogs issues so we could make sure you had a relaxing break and so that we could make sure your dogs felt relaxed and safe. Hope to see you again soon. • "A lovely stay at the hare, only to be spoilt by the torrential non stop rain but I guess that's yorkshire for you."

Lovely gesture of the welcome wine and cake and complimentary tea and coffee. Would have been nice for the little gardens at each cabin to be secure to allow pets to go in and out on their own safely without disturbing the animals there. Some lovely walks nearby and gorgeous little villages. An enjoyable stay in the tranquil countryside.

Really glad you enjoyed your stay in the cabin and managed to get out between the rain to enjoy our beautiful countryside. We have been desperate for the rain as its been so dry so we've been really glad to see it. Hope to see you again soon. With love xx Property Owner
