  • "We really enjoyed our stay at Casita over the New Year."

The house is in a great position - it was clean, warm and has very comfy beds. The living room is a little too cosy for 6 and a small freezer would be welcome but on the whole a lovely holiday home.

  • "Very disappointed, obviously COVID regs hadn’t been carried out, not deep cleaned, pillows not clean, duvet and protective cover stained."

I have taken photos. Details say comfy seating for six in dining room and sitting room, two small sofas and one tub chair is not comfy for five adults, certainly not six. Downstairs shower room shower tray high. Fans in bathroom switched off, switches close to ceiling. Bathroom sink plug has no spring, downstairs bedroom window couldn’t open…. The photos shown are not as the property is now. First time we have been disappointed and we book with Sykes very frequently.

  • "The property was a great location for the beach."

However we were shocked at how tired the interior was. The living room furniture was old and uncomfortable plus a small room for 4 adults. The overall cleanliness of the place was very poor - I find it strange that we have late check ins for Covid but this place had'nt had an ordinary clean let alone a Covid clean. I think the owners need to spend some money here and it certainly does'nt warrant a 4.5 star. Very disappointed and unusual for a Sykes holiday let. I would NOT recommend staying here particularly if you are taking older family members with mobility problems.

  • "Great holiday home, we visited last year and picked it again this year."

It has a dishwasher and also a washer dryer which wasn’t advertised when we booked. Great location close to beach, local supermarkets and takeaways. We paid around £300 more this year for the house than last year (August) and looking for next year it’s gone up again by a similar amount…that sadly may be the reason we don’t return.

  • "The house is situated on the road that leads to the beach (2 min walk) and is ideal for families and dogs."

It has all the expectations and more. Dog treats, a fruit cake, along with milk in the fridge were an added bonus on arrival. The house is quirky with a large kitchen, one downstairs bedroom and three upstairs. There are three bathrooms; one with a bath. The steep tiered garden is kept immaculate with slate steps. lots of flowers, shrubs and a lawn at the top. The sea views are best from here, whilst sitting with a nice cuppa or a wine if it takes your fancy. We are definitely going back here.

  • "We had a lovely holiday."

The accommodation was perfect, really clean, it had everything we needed and more. Excellent location, close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The area is beautiful. The wooden casing on one of the stone chipping steps in the back garden was loose and had come away, we had to be careful walking up to the top garden, apart from that the garden/patio area was brilliant. We would definitely recommend Casita and will be looking to visit again!!

  • "Well equipped kitchen ."

Bedrooms and bathroom good. Living area rather cramped for 6 adults so should be advertised for max 4 adults and 2 children. Outside appearance - front windows and porch doors need replacing- gives a shabby appearance to the property. There was a bees nest right outside one of the bedroom windows so couldn't open in case they flew in. Needs parking lines outside- on the 3 days there the public parked right outside the house leaving no parking space for us.

  • "The home was great, very spacious, great location."

One thing I would change would be to add a washing machine - although it didn’t say there was one in the description we had assumed there would be one if your there for a week as we were you do want to wash towels and bedding. Just a thought. Didn’t spoil the holiday and initial feedback still stands great property and location.

  • "As regards the property it was as described, is in a great location (2 minutes from the beach) and we had a relaxing break."

A couple of points for anyone booking, don't ignore the garden description. It is very steep and not for the infirm, also any small children would need supervising. However the view from the top is ace and a great place for the morning cuppa. As we were the first to stay following the relaxation of the covid rules it took the first night to warm the house up. Once warm it was easy to keep comfortable. The ensuite shower is not for tall or large people, however there is an excellent and roomy shower in the downstairs bathroom. We all found the beds comfortable and the house equipped with all we needed for the duration of our stay. The lack of wardrobe/hanging space could be an issue for anyone staying for two weeks.

  • "We booked to stay eleven nights over Christmas, but unfortunately this was cut short by the Welsh lock-down & we had to leave after two nights."

.. Casita was bigger & better than the pictures portray it - now with the added benefit of a dishwasher. The location is amazing with the beach being about a five minute walk away - our dogs loved this. We could have fit two cars on the driveway but wouldn't have been able to close the gates so we left one on the road - no problem. Wi-fi was good but TV was rather small & strangely mounted quite low on the wall. Bedrooms were all a good size & the bathrooms were much larger than expected. The heating was amazing & once warm it remained so for ages. Garden was steep with no lighting, but we already knew this so it didn't cause us any issues - lovely view from the seating at the top. I'd replace the non-working Aga with a decent sized range cooker & put a large fridge/freezer where the cooker is now - everything else is cool. Thanks for letting us stay in your super cool house - everything was amazingly clean.

It says parking for two cars - I don’t see how that’s possible to actually get them in Information on the property and phone numbers - we couldn’t find the book on the property for most of the holiday as it had been put under a chair seat Internet - this doesn’t work. Got someone out and it worked for a couple of hours then stopped again. We did without as not a priority on this holiday and didn’t want the hassle of waiting on the phone for ages before we got an answer and then waiting for someone to come back again Kitchen - the fridge is too small. We had to wash all the cutlery and pottery as wasn’t clean. It needs a dish washer Garden - pretty garden but not very safe for dogs or kids as the layers aren’t very clear with all the shrubbery Bathrooms were good and there were plenty Towels - we only got bath towels in our room - no hand towels

15 pm there was rubbish all over the front of the property the cleaners arrived at 3.45pm they worked hard to try and clean the inside of the bungalow it was disgrace. they said they would contact someone to come and remove the rubbish. We waited 2 days then we saw rats in the rubbish so i had to go out and clean the rubbish up myself. My farther in law who is 87 said he could not cope so on the monday i had to take him all the way home and arrange someone to come and look after him. I did ring ring your office to let you know about this. We have always had a good holiday with you but this one was a disapointment we left the property cleaner than when we went in even the cleaners said it was dirty. We understand its not your fault but it spoilt our holiday. mr d etchells

Well presented, especially the bathrooms. Fabulous view of Benllech beach from the top of the garden. A dishwasher would be an advantageous addition to the kitchen.
