  • "Such a wonderful place to be if you want a rest and need to go back to nature."

The owners are such nice people and the small-holding that they own is like Watership Down with rabbits running around the fields and lambs being born! The property was lovely and very comfortable and the garden at the back with fields beyond was perfect for our tiny four-legged friend. Fresh duck and hens eggs were provided on our arrival, together with some lovely cake and milk. If we lived nearer, we would go back.

  • "We had a fantastic stay at Y Bwthyn."

The property is set in a rural, quiet location which made for a very relaxing stay. A welcome pack and card was waiting for us on arrival which was a very nice touch made by our hosts Carol and Gareth. Y Bwthyn is an ideal base for exploring Anglesey and indeed North Wales as we visited Conwy during our stay. The property has great outside space to relax in and was very secure for our dog Molly. Many thanks to Carol and Gareth for a wonderful stay.

  • "What a beautiful property in an equally beautiful setting."

We loved our stay at Y Bwythn! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were made to feel very welcome by the owners - we were even left a basket of treats. The cottage was cosy and well equipped, with a brilliant enclosed garden for both our little boy and our dog to play in. There were so many things to do in the local area, so we didn’t need to travel far each day to keep ourselves busy. We didn’t want to leave. We had a wonderful holiday and would highly recommend a stay here.

  • "We had a lovely week at this beautiful barn conversion."

The property has everything you need, spacious, yet cosy at night with the wood burner, secure patio and grassed area at the back looking out over countryside. The owners live opposite and left a lovely welcome pack, they were extremely helpful if needed but also leave you to enjoy your stay. Located in a great place to explore this beautiful island. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or to book again in the future.

  • "Following a friendly greeting from the owners we walked inside the cottage."

It was beautifully presented and homely. There was a welcome card, cake and biscuits, and even some treats for the dogs. The double bed was very comfortable and varnished wooden ceilings throughout really gave the cottage a bright country feel. The secure rear garden was ideal for the dogs to use for a bit of exercise before relaxing in front of a lovely wood burning fire. We love the property and highly recommend it. We would return without hesitation.

  • "A beautiful property in a quiet, secluded place with nearby Village and facilities."

Very welcoming owners. The Barn was modern and clean, light and warm. Every care had been taken and facilities were five star: orthopaedic bed, beautiful walk- in shower. There is also a boot room for muddy or wet clothes which is warm and clean. Here also is a washing machine and tumble dryer. I imagine The barn would be very accessible for the disabled as it has wide doors and is roomy. This may be something the owners could discuss with individuals .

  • "The cottage was excellent."

Well fitted out, comfortable beds, wonderful shower and your own garden to catch the afternoon/evening sun. We got very lucky with the weather, and it really showed off the position of the cottage. Wonderful views of the fields one side and the mountains the other. Taking the dog for his morning stroll was lovely, we even had friendly cows! The location was close to some wonderful beaches, and in the end we didn't see much of the island - just relaxed on the beaches and recharged our batteries. Thank you to C&G - you made us very welcome and made a much needed break... perfect

We are always made to feel so welcome by Carol and Gareth and nothing is too much trouble, we have had some great weather again have walked with our Labradors Harry and Grace for miles down the forest tracks and beaches in nearby Newborough, who absolutely love it there and is a great place too go, watching the world go by and people mad enough to be kite surfing on New Years Day!
