  • "We had a very pleasant stay."

The cottage was located very centrally for all attractions in the area. We got on extremely well with Ian. The cottage was comfortable and we really appreciated the bara brith. Our only concern....there was no balsamic vinegar. (If you know, you know)

Thank you , glad you enjoyed your stay it was a pleasure meeting you both , hope you can replicate the bara brith , and sorry about the balsamic vinegar , that just seems to be a Bain in my life lol . Property Owner

But was disappointed, after a long drive, not to find a pint of milk, or a few tea bags.

Thank you for picking us to stay with and sorry about the milk and tea bags we used to supply in the beginning but with the different types of milk these days we couldn't please everyone and it usually whent to waste ! hence the home made bara brith , that never seems to go to waste Property Owner

Our only criticisms are that there was no where to hang coats up or any airer to put wet clothes on. We would definitely stay here again though.

Thank you very much I'll take that on board I have a drying room in mind for the new year , thanks for staying with us regards Ian Property Owner

Very friendly owner. The lon las Ogwen cycle/ walking trail on the doorstep gives easy access to the coast at Bangor and up to Bethesda and the Snowdonia mountains inland. Deeper soup/ cereal bowls would be appreciated.

Only problem with the entire holiday was how many emails I received from Sykes, it was rediculous, sometimes multiple daily, so much spam. No problem with the cottage did not enjoy the Sykes junk mail bombardment though.

Lovely quiet location; good base for Snowdonia walks (e.g.Llyn Ogwen, Snowdon Ranger, Capel Curig all within 1/2 hr drive). Note for renters: no mobile phone reception inside the cottage (on Virgin network at least); however, wifi excellent so able to make calls via WhatsApp etc.

  • "We were happy with the cottage."

We had a friendly welcome from Ian the owner, who showed us around, and told us to call him if there was anything we needed. The cottage was comfy for two. It was in easy reach of all the areas in Snowdonia. We found it a good base for a weeks holiday walking in Snowdonia. Hopefully we will return one day.

  • "Just returned from this great holiday let."

Ian & Mandy are the perfect hosts with the most beautiful homemade barbarith waiting for us. Even the hens came to greet us and laid some eggs for us too. The accomodation is warm and comfortable with everything we needed. Parking is great ( important to me with limited mobility). The location is great, with good roads for exploring or revisiting Anglesey and North Wales. Autumn in Wales was perfect for us. Can highly recommend this holiday let. We are returning September 2019 and hoping to fit in a visit early 2019. Just love this place!!!

It is a great location for touring North Wales and we particularly enjoyed our visit to Snowdon and South Stack. The owner had baked us a Barabrith which was scrumptious we could not of asked for anything more from our holiday. Parking in North Wales when we were out and about was exceptionally cheap. An all round fab holiday.

  • "This really is a lovely place to stay!"

The landlord baked me a lovely loaf of barra brith so with after I acquired a supply of Welsh cheese I was a happy bunny. The kitchen is well equipped. The bed was SO comfortable and I slept like a log. WiFi was intermittent but as a country dweller myself I'm used to that. I am disabled (I use a mobility scooter and walking sticks) and found access very easy. The wet room is very good but it doesn't have a shower seat which is OK for me but a wheelchair user might find that difficult. Apart from that this is a great place for people with limited mobility. Well recommended.
