The property

Look forward to returning to the open-plan living space and finding your favourite spot to wind down in, after a day of walking up mountains and taking in the fresh air; sink into one of the three glorious green velvet sofas in front of the 65" Smart TV and put a classic favourite on, surrounded by contemporary art on the walls and plenty of room for the group, you won't find it difficult to relax.

Host a special occasion in the kitchen area where you can gather around the large island to toast to your holiday, with sleek white units holding high-quality appliances including two double electric ovens, you have all you need and more to cook up delicious meals during your self-catered stay.

Serve up a feast on the long dining table seating fourteen, with decorative lighting above to provide the ambiance.

The National Slate Museum offers a taste of local history, as well as the Dolbadarn Castle, a 13th century tower fort.

Take advantage of your proximity to the Snowdonia National Park and challenge yourself on some hikes, or keep it casual with some easier ambles, and later enjoy an evening meal at one of the many restaurants in the area.

Llanberis 2 miles; Caernarfon 4 miles; Betws-y-Coed 15 miles.

Llanrug is a small village with two pubs, two shops, a Post Office, a hotel with indoor swimming pool and fitness room, and a 9 hole golf course is nearby. The village is situated in the foothills of the Snowdonia Mountain Range, only 3 miles from famous Llanberis. Dominated by the grandeur of the Snowdon Massif, Llanberis is flanked by two lakes, Llyn Padarn and Llyn Peris, and is one of the most popular mountain tourist centres in the Snowdonia National Park. Llanberis is something of a 'mecca' for walkers and climbers, being the starting point for the ascent of Snowdon - the highest mountain in Wales. The ascent can be made either by train, on the Snowdonia Mountain Railway, or on foot along one of the many routes to the summit. Llanberis boasts excellent places to eat and drink and a great choice of shopping. Just 4 miles from Llanrug, on the coast, is Caernarfon with its magnificent 13th century castle and town walls and close by are National Trust properties at Penrhyn and Plas Newydd and many wonderful beaches.
