A small 15th Century market town once home to a large mining community, Callington is famous for its unique Mural Trail created by professional and amateur artists. Every corner brings something new, with colourful works of art portraying Callington's past, present and future emblazoned on various walls and buildings. A Heritage Centre opens at weekends in summer showcasing local artefacts, including mining memorabilia, while other points of interest include St. Mary's Church, the Old Clink and Dupath Well House, an ornate granite building containing holy water.
