“The wifi was fine for writing - and TV.”

I have stayed before with my partner around the corner - not through Sykes.

I have stayed before with my partner around the corner - not through Sykes. Heating was fine. Kitchen easy to use tho I only 'cooked' some beans and toast. I used the single bed even though towels on the double - on my own this time. Really enjoyed the quiet and darkness and fresh air.

The property

Boasting some of the most beautiful views across the estuary, you are well-placed for a truly outstanding exploration of the countryside and coastal sights of Cornwall.

Internally, the property has been refurbished to provide a modern holiday home, with each room having been individually styled to create a warm and welcoming interior.

Gather around the dining table to enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal for the whole family, prepared in the well-equipped and modern fitted kitchen.

Retire to one of the three well-presented bedrooms with two showing views across the estuary, housing a range of furniture to store your personal items, as well as bedside tables and lamps, ideal for some late night reading.

The family bathroom provides an elegant bath and shower over, so you can decide how best to prepare for your day.

Outside, there is an enclosed patio garden with a seating area so you can enjoy a refreshing drink in the afternoon sun.

While you're in the area, travel towards Prideaux Place, an early 16th century manor home with a variety of artwork and antique furniture inside, and is set within lush grounds, perfect for exploring.

Daymer Bay is also within easy reach and is the ideal sheltered beach for those looking for a quiet place to spend their afternoons enjoying a picnic or simply sunbathing on the golden sands.

Treat your little ones to a day out at the wonderful Camel Creek Adventure, a family activity centre, featuring animal petting areas, something your little one will delight in.
