  • "Had an amazing time and the lodge was perfect!"

Hot tub man came out every day! Thank you

  • "Not a real problem but the advertising picture is not at all accurate."

When we arrived at the site we was looking for a lake (the picture shows the accommodation looking out over a lake). No lake to be found but a small pond to the side! a very clever photographer has taken the picture at a low angle to make it look like a lake side property and it also reads as such and this is not the case! Disappointed but it didn't ruin things as the accommodation was comfortable and clean with everything we needed. Could also have done with a clothes horse to dry clothes on as not everyone likes tumble dryers! but this is minor.

  • "Just a minor point."

The right hand wardrobe door in the second bedroom is not properly on the sliding rail and will not move. Everything else is fine.

  • "Lovely relaxing holiday lodge only down side was we had lots of flies in an afternoon in the main window to the lounge and even with not having the windows open they would still get in."

Also there is no mirrors in the two twin rooms so for ladies drying there hair had to go in to someone else's room being the master bedroom to dry hair and do there makeup. Lovely clean hot tub and very well maintained accommodation. We are already looking at booking for next year for this lodge again.

  • "Being situated at the first entrance we found our lodge easy to locate."

Delighted upon arrival to find it immaculate, well layed out and full of all the things we needed. I usually bring a decent frying pan and knives but found the kitchen extremely usable with good quality items and plenty of them. We all found the beds comfy, soft fluffy white towels and good shower pressure with never the slightest issue of hot water. The dishwasher and washer dryer were perfect and high quality..I love to cook whilst on holiday and know the area well, superb butchers and bakers a short distance away , even fantastic fresh fish available. Not the case where I live in Oxford. Liskeard whilst you may not think it has the most excellent butchers, bakers, veg shops and fish mongers. A delight. The lodge felt very private, the temperature dropped quite a bit while there but it has a superb heating system which was easy to use. Loved the bright open spaces with views all round even on a wet Cornish day. Too many places to list within reasonable driving distance so happy with our choice of location. The cherry on the cake was the hot tub, what a revelation. First time of hiring a property with one and it has now gone straight to the top of our list of requirements . Absolutely loved it and usable in pretty much all weathers and hours of the day. Fantastic break, calling it retreat certainly fitted the bill. Just looking now for another date to book. Marvellous.

  • "A wonderful lodge, very clean and has everything required for an amazing stay."

Plenty of kitchen equipment and mugs, glasses and cutlery, which you don’t always get. Very comfortable beds, quality bedding. I would thoroughly recommend the lodge for a quiet holiday.

  • "Key pick up was a breeze and the cottage was great."

Really well specced with plenty of space both inside and outside. Site was really quiet and relaxing. The only issue was that the directions could have been clearer as the site is split in two and this caused some confusion when we arrived at the site and couldn't find the cottage only to realise that there was a second entrance and more cottages one minute further down the road.

  • "I cannot rarer the staff on site highly enough."

We had a problem with our hot tub in check in and it was dealt with quickly and efficiently. They kept us informed at all times and the manager called by the next dab to check everything was ok and we were satisfied. We were more than happy! The site was very well maintained, beautiful gardens. The home was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. This is our second booking with this company and we will be back!
