"We found the owners of the property very helpful and were willing to answer any questions before and during our stay."
The only negative comment I had was that the beds in the back bedroom was not very comfortable. It’s just a preference but I prefer my bed more firmer, however the other beds were not too bad. Also maybe if a fan was made available as the top floor can get too hot on the warmer days. Otherwise great location and property.
"We loved our short break at fistral beeeze."
The house was very comfortable and provided all the items we needed for a restful stay. The rooms were light and well aired. The bathrooms were clean. I found the kitchen great to cook in and there was plenty of storage for all our things. We knew that the grass had been replaced with clippings and this was not a problem at all for us. There was a basic shop 2 mins walk away, the beach was a steep but short walk, the town was also very close. The house is very well positioned for all the amenities. Would happy book again and recommend.
"Firstly property is well stocked with good facilities and close to town, shops and amazing beaches."
Property owners did get in touch before our stay and provide lots of useful information which was great. But... sofa was very stained and could do with a good vac and steam clean. Dining chair ripped and needs replacing. Garden was depressing. More of a yard. A bit of weeding and an easy to maintain potted plant would make a big difference. Shelves in side of fridge missing. Appreciate damage done by previous guests and it’s getting to end of a busy summer season. I also appreciate property is pet friendly (ours is a small non shedding dog luckily) but did expect for the price charged it to be cleaner. Couple of air fresheners perhaps. Situated on a very busy roundabout that was very noisy especially through the night with windows open. Couple of dishwasher tablets and some milk would have been nice to help after a long journey and avoid the shops as with our previous property in Fowey.
"Gorgeous house with everything you need for your stay plus dog bowls and biscuits for your 4 legged friend."
The beds was comfy and decorated with a beachy feel plus the shops and beach just 5 minutes down the road I would definitely stay again
"The property was clean, spacious and very well equipped."
The beds were very comfortable. However, there was a lot of road noise. We were very disappointed that the lawn area had been gravelled over making the space unusable. A lawn had given this property the edge over another we had considered as we had our young grandchildren with us. The property description and photos should be amended on the website as they are misleading.
"Extremely pleased with everything about the property, the layout, comfort and facilities it offered."
It was a shame the grass, which appears in the photos for the property, had been removed with us having 2 dogs, but aside from that it was excellent.
"Great location, and a lovely holiday home with everything that you might need for your holiday, especially with furry friends!"
The welcome pack with scones, jam and cream was appreciated, as was the little extra touches like dog treats and water bowls. Highly recommended, and the owners were also very helpful and easy to contact, not that we needed to during our stay as everything was perfect.
"Brilliant hosts, you replied to any query immediately."
the house is very hot, perfect for winter. 10 min walk to the beach or town. Fantastic bedroom with balcony.
"On arrival we we're disappointed due to the fact that the house had not been cleaned or fresh bedding."
I contacted the owner, Simon and he was brilliant, he told us to go out for a meal which he would pay for and he would contact the management company to see what had gone wrong. Within an hour he got them round and cleaned the house and fresh bedding so a big thumbs up to Simon. Overall the house was very comfortable and convenient for Newquay and visiting other places. Would highly recommend Fistral Breeze to anyone that is looking for relaxing break.
"Fistral breeze is a very good property which is well placed for all beaches and the town, the facilities are ideal and worked for us with a small dog ."
The owners Penny and Simon go the extra mile to help with any issues. We would use again and recommend to others .
"Fistral Breeze, thanks for hosting us, great location, clean and tidy."
"A lovely spacious property which is very modern."
Very comfortable beds. Kitchen is well equipped with everything you could want. A great location to explore Newquay and other places. We travelled to Padstow, Port Isaac and Tintagel.
"House was just like home but by the sea!"
Had been freshly painted and was very clean. Sofa and bed were really comfortable after long walks with the dog. Location was fantastic, within walking distance of beaches and shops. Great stay would definitely recommend and return.
"Fistral Breeze is perfectly located to get easy access to the town of Newquay and it's beautiful beaches."
Having parking behind the property is perfect too. The property is modern and well-equipped. The only comment I must add for light-sleepers, it is positioned on the corner of one of the main roundabouts entering Newquay, so traffic noise can be a distraction almost constantly until the early hours (Friday/Saturday even throughout the night too!) May not bother some people, but we live in a very quiet area and do like to sleep with the windows open!!! Other than that, a great property. p.s. I used earplugs after 3 nights!!
"The property is in an excellent place close to 2 beaches and town and most other coastal towns 30 minutes away."
Beautiful home from home with everything you need. Parking is a bonus too. We will definitely be back again wouldn't stay anywhere else. My dog didn't want to go home
"Home from home property, great location and 10 out of 10 for cleanliness especially given that pets are welcome."
Couldn't fault anything. in a bid to give helpful feedback, might want to consider either making parking arrangements more obvious on site or provide a picture layout of parking spots in initial emails. Also, cutting the small grass garden area before arrival would be beneficial (we have a small dog consequently it was virtually impossible to clear up dog mess before leaving - the grass was taller than the dog) Not a problem for us, perfect holiday home.
"This was our second stay at Fistral Breeze and it won't be our last!"
Perfect for families with children of all ages this really is a home-from-home holiday stay. Within easy walk to Fistral Beach and also Towan Beach as well as nearby shops and pubs. It has every amenity you could wish for on holiday including an outside shower to keep the sand outside! The only improvement we could think of would be a fan/air conditioning in the bedrooms as the rooms could be very hot at night and the noise from the road could be heard when the windows were open. Thank you Penny and Simon for making us feel so welcome again in your holiday home!
"This was a great location, and we would certainly book this property again."
The owner was very helpful with the couple of queries we had and replied promptly.
"All the home comforts in clean, modern house with a great location."
Nice touch to arrive to a Cornish Cream tea!
"Lovely central location."
Walking distance to the beaches. Enclosed safe garden for the dogs. The house was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for 5 adults. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need. Only downside was the parking for only 1 car, but we managed to park the other car locally.
what can I say. An absolutely stunning house and perfect location too, two beautiful beaches a few minutes away and plenty of shops too other attractions close by too. The house, which is on three levels was beautiful, tastefully decorated with the personal touch too, a real home from home, the kitchen was well equipped with every utensil you can thing of some of which I haven't even got at home. Even a mat for dog bowls go go one too!. The best place away from home my family have ever been to and we shall be returning many more times to this beautiful part of the country. Fabulous job guys keep it up. Would definitely recommend a visit or two
"The property was centrally located to both the town and the beach and was a 'home from home'."
On arrival, the house was clean and welcoming and the added 'extras' of tea, coffee, milk and cookies was a welcome sight after such a long drive. The only draw backs for us was the lack of parking at the property (just one allocated space) and another comfy couch would have made the stay more comfortable as there were 5 of us.... Whilst we were aware of the parking at the property, parking one of our cars away from the property was both a security concern and an inconvenience at times. That said, we had a lovely break and the weather was kind to us!
"We had a wonderful week staying at Fistral Breeze."
The accommodation is finished to a high standard with all the amenities you could wish for. It is very convenient for the shops and beaches - is an easy recommendation!
"The house is just superb."
There is nothing missing in there. It was the best place we’ve ever been. The kitchen has everything you can imagine to cook and we had a wonderful time.
"Really enjoyed Fistral Breeze as it was well thought out and beautifully comfortable."
All amenities were in easy walking distance and our dogs were made very welcome. A wonderful holiday.
"Fistral Breeze, lovely house, clean, spacious, really a home from home."
Very comfortable and good location. If I return to Cornwall, I would check this out for availability first.
"Every step was easy from initial booking to you keeping me up to date with information regarding travel and keys."
We absolutely loved fistral breeze and would love to return as the accommodation is stunning! It is perfect distance to the beach and Newquay centre. We were so sad to leave. Thank you for such a lovely break that we will never forget
"Everything was great , cant fault anything"
Just booked again for the same time 2020! That says it all!
"It was our best holiday in 4 years!"
Newquay is a super place to visit and with such a dog friendly town and beaches it made the holiday very easy. Miles of walking we did not get in the all week. The house was just what we needed and with extras such as hairdryer, Binoculars , board games, radios, blankets and so many other things to help us with our holiday. We went surfing and had lessons with Fistral beach and Bare feet Coasteering one evening and walked all around the area. Will defiantly come back. Thank you
"My husband and i arrived at this wonderful accommodation, we had specifically chosen this let as we had stayed near by only a few months ago."
It was everything we were looking for, modern, spacious, fantastic location to Fistral Beach, as well has the town centre and harbour. The accommodation has everything you could wish for and more besides and is very very clean! Unfortunately on our second day i was admitted to hospital after suffering an heart attack. After a conversation with the property manager regarding extending our stay, for obvious reasons. I was amazed ................ this lovely lady text back telling my husband not to worry that this could be arranged. The genuine concern was fantastic! We also received messages and calls from the owner. At this difficult time, being a 5 hour drive from home, it was such a reassurance. We even got a call from the owner a few days after we returned home to see how i was doing. A Great BIG THANK YOU to both the property manager and owners, you all went above and beyond anything we could have expected.
"Lovely home which was well set up for children and a dog!"
Lots of thoughtful little extras - a shower outside, milk and bread on arrival. Clean and fresh looking and close to some great places to visit and eat within walking distance which is handy. Couldn’t ask for more!

Fistral Breeze was a beautiful 3 storey modern town house in a fantastic location would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Newquay
"Five star accommodation."
Beautiful house which was spotlessly clean. Lovely touch of having a crusty loaf , butter and milk provided by the owner. Great location only 5-10 minutes walk to Fistral Beach. Bonus luxury of having allocated parking space which are few & far between in central Newquay. Very close by to supermarket and town centre. We had a fabulous stay. The open plan living acommodation made it light and airy and a delight to spend lazy mornings watching TV. We would definately book again. Thank you to Simon and Penny who were on easily reachable regarding any queries.
"Fantastic accommodation, clean and tidy, accurate and honest information in regards amenities available, would throughly recommend Sykes when choosing an holiday break and I will be using Sykes for my next break in near future."
