  • "We found the owners of the property very helpful and were willing to answer any questions before and during our stay."

The only negative comment I had was that the beds in the back bedroom was not very comfortable. It’s just a preference but I prefer my bed more firmer, however the other beds were not too bad. Also maybe if a fan was made available as the top floor can get too hot on the warmer days. Otherwise great location and property.

  • "We loved our short break at fistral beeeze."

The house was very comfortable and provided all the items we needed for a restful stay. The rooms were light and well aired. The bathrooms were clean. I found the kitchen great to cook in and there was plenty of storage for all our things. We knew that the grass had been replaced with clippings and this was not a problem at all for us. There was a basic shop 2 mins walk away, the beach was a steep but short walk, the town was also very close. The house is very well positioned for all the amenities. Would happy book again and recommend.

  • "Firstly property is well stocked with good facilities and close to town, shops and amazing beaches."

Property owners did get in touch before our stay and provide lots of useful information which was great. But... sofa was very stained and could do with a good vac and steam clean. Dining chair ripped and needs replacing. Garden was depressing. More of a yard. A bit of weeding and an easy to maintain potted plant would make a big difference. Shelves in side of fridge missing. Appreciate damage done by previous guests and it’s getting to end of a busy summer season. I also appreciate property is pet friendly (ours is a small non shedding dog luckily) but did expect for the price charged it to be cleaner. Couple of air fresheners perhaps. Situated on a very busy roundabout that was very noisy especially through the night with windows open. Couple of dishwasher tablets and some milk would have been nice to help after a long journey and avoid the shops as with our previous property in Fowey.

  • "The property was clean, spacious and very well equipped."

The beds were very comfortable. However, there was a lot of road noise. We were very disappointed that the lawn area had been gravelled over making the space unusable. A lawn had given this property the edge over another we had considered as we had our young grandchildren with us. The property description and photos should be amended on the website as they are misleading.

  • "Extremely pleased with everything about the property, the layout, comfort and facilities it offered."

It was a shame the grass, which appears in the photos for the property, had been removed with us having 2 dogs, but aside from that it was excellent.

The welcome pack with scones, jam and cream was appreciated, as was the little extra touches like dog treats and water bowls. Highly recommended, and the owners were also very helpful and easy to contact, not that we needed to during our stay as everything was perfect.

  • "On arrival we we're disappointed due to the fact that the house had not been cleaned or fresh bedding."

I contacted the owner, Simon and he was brilliant, he told us to go out for a meal which he would pay for and he would contact the management company to see what had gone wrong. Within an hour he got them round and cleaned the house and fresh bedding so a big thumbs up to Simon. Overall the house was very comfortable and convenient for Newquay and visiting other places. Would highly recommend Fistral Breeze to anyone that is looking for relaxing break.

  • "Fistral Breeze is perfectly located to get easy access to the town of Newquay and it's beautiful beaches."

Having parking behind the property is perfect too. The property is modern and well-equipped. The only comment I must add for light-sleepers, it is positioned on the corner of one of the main roundabouts entering Newquay, so traffic noise can be a distraction almost constantly until the early hours (Friday/Saturday even throughout the night too!) May not bother some people, but we live in a very quiet area and do like to sleep with the windows open!!! Other than that, a great property. p.s. I used earplugs after 3 nights!!

  • "Home from home property, great location and 10 out of 10 for cleanliness especially given that pets are welcome."

Couldn't fault anything. in a bid to give helpful feedback, might want to consider either making parking arrangements more obvious on site or provide a picture layout of parking spots in initial emails. Also, cutting the small grass garden area before arrival would be beneficial (we have a small dog consequently it was virtually impossible to clear up dog mess before leaving - the grass was taller than the dog) Not a problem for us, perfect holiday home.

  • "This was our second stay at Fistral Breeze and it won't be our last!"

Perfect for families with children of all ages this really is a home-from-home holiday stay. Within easy walk to Fistral Beach and also Towan Beach as well as nearby shops and pubs. It has every amenity you could wish for on holiday including an outside shower to keep the sand outside! The only improvement we could think of would be a fan/air conditioning in the bedrooms as the rooms could be very hot at night and the noise from the road could be heard when the windows were open. Thank you Penny and Simon for making us feel so welcome again in your holiday home!

The house, which is on three levels was beautiful, tastefully decorated with the personal touch too, a real home from home, the kitchen was well equipped with every utensil you can thing of some of which I haven't even got at home. Even a mat for dog bowls go go one too!. The best place away from home my family have ever been to and we shall be returning many more times to this beautiful part of the country. • "The property was centrally located to both the town and the beach and was a 'home from home'."

On arrival, the house was clean and welcoming and the added 'extras' of tea, coffee, milk and cookies was a welcome sight after such a long drive. The only draw backs for us was the lack of parking at the property (just one allocated space) and another comfy couch would have made the stay more comfortable as there were 5 of us.... Whilst we were aware of the parking at the property, parking one of our cars away from the property was both a security concern and an inconvenience at times. That said, we had a lovely break and the weather was kind to us!

Newquay is a super place to visit and with such a dog friendly town and beaches it made the holiday very easy. Miles of walking we did not get in the all week. The house was just what we needed and with extras such as hairdryer, Binoculars , board games, radios, blankets and so many other things to help us with our holiday. It was everything we were looking for, modern, spacious, fantastic location to Fistral Beach, as well has the town centre and harbour. The accommodation has everything you could wish for and more besides and is very very clean! Unfortunately on our second day i was admitted to hospital after suffering an heart attack. After a conversation with the property manager regarding extending our stay, for obvious reasons. I was amazed ................ this lovely lady text back telling my husband not to worry that this could be arranged. The genuine concern was fantastic! We also received messages and calls from the owner. At this difficult time, being a 5 hour drive from home, it was such a reassurance. We even got a call from the owner a few days after we returned home to see how i was doing. A Great BIG THANK YOU to both the property manager and owners, you all went above and beyond anything we could have expected.
