  • "Had a fantastic stay over Christmas, the property was just as described and the outside dog washing area was great and so useful."

  • "We had an excellent week at High Park, it met our needs wonderfully for our first "three generation" holiday, with adult children, young grandchildren and two dogs."

The design of the house is ideal, giving space and privacy between families, and a ground floor bedroom for us oldies, and the big shared kitchen/dining/sitting room was great for us all to socialize. The view from both there and the upstairs sitting room, looking over towards Praa Sands, was amazing, and we felt snug even when the weather closed in. Garden was ideal for the two dogs, no-one escaped, and we even got to use the BBQ one night. Great that everything worked - hot decent showers, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen - and was new, with an attention to detail you don't always see in rental properties. Summary - we loved it, hightly recommend the place, and hope to return. Thanks to Jo and Emma for hosting.

  • "Property was well equipped and presented."

There were no unnecessary ornaments ( unlike some we have stayed in). The option to separate some beds into twin occupancy was useful. Considerable thought had been given to the presence of small children ( top and bottom stair-gates and garden equipment). A fuss free safe garden. Some other minor practical matters were discussed with the owner when leaving. The views were impressive and having a separate quiet sitting space on the first floor was a additional bonus.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. It was a pleasure to meet you and thank you very much for your previous experiences and knowledge with us xx Property Owner

  • "Short answer: fabulous place which provided an excellent backdrop to the best half term holiday I've had."

100% recommend. Longer answer: beautiful farmhouse, tastefully decorated, with plenty of shared space and good sized rooms for the whole family. So much thought went into making it comfortable and feeling like a treat. It is somehow both incredibly family and dog-friendly as well as romantic and pampering. Travel cot provided. Dog beds and blankets and even treats! The kitchen is the best stocked holiday kitchen I've seen. Enough space to prepare and eat meals. A separate utility area was large and very useful. The views from the garden are brilliant. Enjoying the evening sun in the large garden and watching the sun set was a highlight. There is a little playhouse with a slide, and at night the fairy lights come on, making it seem magical to the children. There is a separate, enclosed outside space for hanging washing, rinsing wetsuits etc. Ample parking - 5 cars easily parked on the driveway. Jo was so accommodating and helpful. She invited us to visit the working farm, which was as much a treat for the children as for the adults. Her knowledge and care for the animals was impressive. This was the best farm visit I've ever had - another highlight of the week. Plentiful information about the local area was available. Jo clearly cared about making our stay a really positive experience, and I would say without hesitation that she succeeded. We loved our stay - thank you!

Oh my! We are so happy you enjoyed your stay with us. It was lovely to meet you all. X Property Owner
