The owner is really pleasant and if you need anything just speak to him and he will get you sorted. Already looking to book our next trip here next year ! I’m normally very critical about where we stay but on this occasion I have nothing ! It was just incredible !

Very up to date and modern. Sitting in that very well designed garden makes you feel like you have won the lottery. Can’t fault the cleanliness and the views from the balcony confirms how beautifully located you are. Would definitely stay there again.

  • "We had a beautiful week at sea the view."

When we first walked in we were amazed at how stunning the place was. The photos don’t do it justice. Facilities were more than we expected, with everything you would need and more. Thank you for the exceptional hamper of cream teas, Cornish butter, beautiful bread, Cornish tea bags and lovely coffee pods. The sunsets and sunrises were unbelievable. We would definitely recommend sea the view to anyone. We had the best week we’ve ever had in Cornwall. Thank you.

  • "Beautiful property, exactly as depicted in the photos."

The other amazing thing was that you could walk to the beach and back - and Sennen Cove is beautiful and fantastic for dogs as it was out of season (dogs not allowed on the beach during the day in the summer months). Yellow sand and turquoise sea. Don't turn up the heating - you will be too hot! Lovely and cosy! Didn't need the log burner but there were logs if we had wanted a fire. There were a few crumbs in the kitchen (not a problem for us but is an expensive holiday so would not have expected that...) but the rest of the house was immaculate and very easy to keep clean. Hot tub was fantastic. Weather was wild which made the hot tub even more fun. Recommend the Minack Theatre and also easy walking distance to Lands End (to walk was an hour and a half round trip) as parking is £4 cash only. Lovely to visit Cornwall out of season. I bet its rammed in the summer months.

  • "Our family had an amazing stay."

The property itself is furnished to a high standard, the hot tub was also a massive bonus to our stay. The only hiccup we had was the main door inside the property that leads you into the living space, the latch had stopped working but it wasn’t a problem. A short drive to Sennen beach was great, the best beach we have visited so far in Cornwall. Supermarkets nearby to stock up on food which was handy. Overall, we had a fabulous stay.

  • "We were hugely disappointed that the hot tub was not ready to be used on our first evening, given that our stay was only for 3 nights."

We accept that hot tubs are emptied each time, but there was nothing in the booking to say not to expect the hot tub to be ready on first evening. We have stayed at numerous properties with hot tubs and have never had this issue and we are confident that they too had been emptied and refilled, but just given enough time to reheat for the next guests. We were also quite shocked to find that the property had not been cleaned properly (especially in these Covid times). There were hand marks on the kitchen cupboards, sticky hand prints on the fridge opening, crumbs on the sideboard and bits in the drawers. The surfaces of the furniture were covered in dust in both the lounge and the bedroom and the flooring did not look as though it had been hoovered properly with bits on the floor and also dog hair which was also on the sofa and cushions. The sofa had stains and what looked to be dried food on it. We would accept stains may be unavoidable but you would expect dried on food to be cleaned off. The glass in the log burner was dirty and needed to be cleaned. The patio door windows overlooking the garden and the view were dirty and smeared which marred the view. The bed linen in the main bedroom was also stained. However the bathrooms and toilets were spotless. The property itself is excellent with everything you could want, done to a very high spec, in a fantastic location and deserves 5 stars. However for a 5 star property there was not the 5 star service that you would expect.

Thank you for providing feedback following you stay at Sea The View. We have raised the cleanliness issues you mention with the owner of the property who will be taking this up with his cleaning agents, had you mentioned these issues during your stay he would have been more than happy to send someone to rectify this for you. The owner attended the property as soon as we were made aware of the hot tub issue. Property Owner

  • "Lovely property."

Very comfortable beds. Had everything you needed. Very spacious. Clearly a lot of thought and effort had gone into design.Short walk to the beach and lovely sea views on a clear day. Took two small dogs and there needs were also catered for, bowls, toys and plenty of blankets, also handy to have the stair gates. Artificial grass meant no muddy paws. Loved the hotub, however I think that it had too many chemicals as it ‘bleached’ mine and my friends costumes, unfortunately the were both ruined. Never had this before in other hotubs. Overall , superb property, but please check your hotub maintenance.

Thank you for taking the time to leave some feedback and I’m happy to see that you had a good stay at the property. We have looked in to the maintenance of the hot tub and found that everything is as it should be. Property Owner

All the mod cons and everything in the place is of the highest quality. Sennen Cove is a wonderful location with an amazing beach. We left a few items by mistake on leaving and they arranged sending back ASAP which was great as one of the items was my daughters favourite Teddy! We would absolutely come back here!

  • "This is an absolutely beautiful property, exactly like the photos and as it is situated at the end of a row of 6 it has the bigger garden and lots of great garden furniture to use."

The ‘welcome pack’ is a lovely touch and the facilities are also great. The views are far reaching rural views over countryside and the houses of Sennen but unfortunately we didn’t have much ( if any) of a sea view at ‘sea the view’. Admittedly we had an awful weather week so we could only really see it from the left hand side of the upstairs balcony which was really disappointing for us. The walk down to the beach either ‘off road’ down the hillside path or ‘on the road’ is very steep and took us about 20-30 minutes ( especially on the way back) but once you are there Sennen cove it is a lovely seaside village.

  • "Fabulous house , very clean, very well equipped, beautiful garden and nice views."

Lovely White House bedding and toiletries, soft towels. Short walk to beach but quite a hike if carrying anything much.Would have been useful to know that and also to know what type of coffee machine as the pods were not easily found locally and we would have come prepared had we known. Also although everything provided - there were no salad servers ! Very minor things but owner could easily sort. We had a fantastic stay there and would highly recommend!

About the location

Land’s End 1 mile; St Just 5 miles; Penzance 9 miles.

The most westerly village in mainland Britain, Sennen has a lovely mile-long beach of pure white sand and is a very popular holiday destination. With excellent surfing conditions, the village has its own surf school – overlooked by a super-cool beach bar/restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows which make the most of the wonderful views. Once a hub of smuggling activity, Sennen still retains many secret passages – one of which is said to lead to the covered well in the Old Success Inn. Largely unchanged over time, this lovely village has a timeless appeal and is home to a gallery, a medieval church, an Iron Age fort and a small selection of shops where you can buy beachware, gifts and souvenirs, and a range of groceries. There is also a weekly Farmers’ Market in the village Community Centre each Tuesday morning. During the summer, the beach bar becomes a hub of activity and entertainment, with live music, weekly barbecues and popular surfing competitions.
