"Shower step too high and no rail could not use."
Off road parking half the car was parked on the road. Garden not secure for animals or children.. view out of windows very overgrown with bramble. Left midweek and lost half our holiday.
Thanks for the feedback. Sorry that you felt the need to have left your holiday early. The Cottage is situated on a typical small Cornish lane which has passing traffic and farm vehicles, there is enough room for a car ( our large family SUV is fine parked up against the front of the property) there is a wider part of the lane if you wish to park further down the road. The Cottage was built in the 1880s and is quirky with steps in both the sunroom and the downstairs bathroom and the shower step is higher than a standard shower so you do need to be cautious when stepping in and out of the shower. With regards to the brambles outside, the cottages adjoins another cottage is currently unoccupied and the garden is overgrown. However, The Cottage garden is well maintained and has a low maintenance garden suitable for families and dogs which is equipped with a washing line, and a hose for beach days. There is a wooden gate at the front of the property and an enclosed garden. If you have dogs that are likely to escape through bushes or jump a low wall then you will need to make sure they are not left unattended. We hope you enjoyed other aspects of The Cottage to include the newly fitted wood burner in the kitchen for cosy evenings and the coastal feel bedrooms and your arrival hamper. Property Owner

"We were not happy the cleanliness or facilities."
Dirty fridge, dirty loo floor, severe staining in 2nd bedroom, rubbish left outside, shower dangerously high (fell out and hit my head), smell in main bedroom. Also parking is awful particularly when the big farm vehicles use the lane. The fact that there were no loo rolls or a small welcome pack of essentials was also poor, owner response was ...there's nothing we can do...how about delivering some!
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you encountered some issues during your stay. Toilet roll is normally provided, and we are are sorry that on this occasion it wasn't, this was an oversight. We arranged for a deep clean of the property to be carried out when the property was next available. There is parking for one car outside the property, this is on a small Cornish lane with passing traffic and farm vehicles. You can also park your car a bit further down the road where the road is wider. Property Owner
