  • "A very nice property."

With everything you need. Lovely site. Already booked a week for next year. Good location for exploring the area.

  • "The site was well maintained and peaceful."

Lodge overall was as described and in reasonably good order, however the kitchen tap dripped badly all the time, and definately short on Cutlery and china, good heating and hot water. We spent a pleasant week here.

Thank you for your feedback We do provide enough cutlery and crockery for 3 people Im not sure what else was required ? We do leave our numbers in the Lodge for you to ring us if there is anything you are not happy about Jim would of popped down and fixed the tap if you had rung. Many thanks Davina Property Owner

  • "The lodge was all we required,it had all the comfort needs for a restful stay."

there was the plus of having a pub serving decent meals a few steps away which was dog friendly, the only problem for us was that busy holiday period, that the Malvern hill walks were busy must choose a different date for next trip. otherwise we will recommend this place to stay.

Thank you for your comments, we hope to see you again Property Owner

  • "Broad Down, is a very comfortable, clean, relaxing, quiet lodge, communication between the owners was excellent, I stayed their with my mum and we both found the beds comfortable."

The site is also kept very clean and tidy, steps a little slippy in the wet so just be careful in the winter.

  • "A wonderful relaxing break."

Super accommodation, especially good to have such a large main bedroom with so much more wardrobe space than you would normally get, and a useful ensuite! I would imagine the washer/dryer is a great bonus if you have bad weather or are staying for longer. After a previous review I took an extra duvet to boost the mattress as my back isn't great, and it was great. Would say the second bedroom would be snug for an adult but the overall space in the lodge is super. Finally, the enclosed balcony is fantastic especially with a doggy, and impressive to have a further table, chairs and umbrella down on the grass. The site is immaculate!! Would thoroughly recommend.

  • "We had an excellent time."

Broad Down is lovely. We felt relaxed and at home. The camp site was clean and quite. Everyone was friendly. There is a pub at the entrance which is great and the food excellent. The static was very comfortable and we would definitely book again. Surrounding area has some great places to visit and we would recommend Eastnor Castle which is dog friendly to the point of allowing the dog to come into the castle apartments and rooms.

It was very easy to get to a wide range of places without having to travel on motorways. The pub next door was very welcoming and served excellent food. All the people we met were very friendly and helpful.

Very comfortable and with all you need on hand. However, one small detail stopped it from being a 5-star holiday. Sadly the beds were rather uncomfortable. Overall, though we would recommend it.

Signal bad but ment no cold calls - great! Everything you would need. Lovely little touches for pooch too. Tewksbury is close. Very dog friendly there. The duke of york pub a stone throw away is dog friendly. Advised booking as popular. Food is amasing and the prices are good. Pie night was so tasty. Landlord was very nice too.

  • "The cooker had to be lit by matches."

The frying pans need to be replaced as they are no longer non stick and some of the cutlery had not been washed properly. There was a cracked glass that needs to be replaced. I was advised the heating would be on when I arrived at 2.00pm, this was not the case it was cold. I could not get the central heating to work and only had the fire in the lounge for heat. Also I had to clear dog poo from the area near the dustbin. Otherwise the park was well kept and very quiet. I have stayed in Sykes cottages five times and this is the first time I have had to make any adverse comments. Kathleen Regan
