"A lovely accommodation, very comfortable and well equipped."
Location is superb, in walking distance to Moreton-in-Marsh centre and public transport options. Lots of living space in the property, we didn't get chance to use the outdoor space unfortunately due to the time of year.
"Lovely well equipped home from home."
So convenient for the cafes, restaurants and shops on the high street. And very quiet. The bedrooms are compact but the living areas are good sizes. The garden was very private and seemed a lovely sun trap and dog-safe. We had a lovely stay. Couldn’t find what to do with the bed linen though and the bin calendar was from 2022 so no idea which bin was supposed to go out. Would be great if those bits of information were updated.
"Cottage had everything needed for a home from home stay."
Bed was comfortable which is always a bonus when staying away from home. The kitchen would be a cook's dream although sadly was not able to turn me into a chef! Garden is a great size and secure which was brilliant for our small dog. Would definitely stay again.
"Once again we have had a wonderful Christmas at Rosemead."
Everything was perfect. Rosemead is very comfortable and Carter's for everyone's needs. Morten in Marsh is beautiful with lovely shops and restaurants. Stow on the wold is 20 minutes drive also with lovely shops and restaurants. We have had a very peaceful Christmas and look forward to returning once again.
"A lovely, modern house in a quiet residential cul de sac."
Close to the High Street where there are several shops and plenty of places to eat and drink
"Third time staying in Rosemead!"
!!. Well located for moreton in marsh and the surrounding area. Lovely and warm comfortable cottage considering the cold weather. Good garden for the dog. We had a great time and cannot find anything to fault (a lock on the bathroom door). The cottage is located in a quiet area but still very close to life.
"Excellent property, couldn’t fault it."
Had everything we needed and more. Very comfortable and clean. Just the right location for all the places we wanted to visit in the area.
Thank you so much for your kind feedback. we look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Property Owner
"Very well appointed cottage."
Everything you need is provided. Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and pubs. Location near to railway line was not a problem: the trains were quite infrequent and could hardly be heard inside the house. All in all, a very pleasant place to stay.
"We had a great stay at Rosemeade, house very comfortable and everything you could need ⭐️"
Thank you so much for your kind feedback, we look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Property Owner
"THE PROPERTY WAS BETTER THAN SOME PREVIOUS FEEDBACK HAVE REPORTED."
THE PROPERTY WAS VERY COMFORTABLE AND VERY CLEAN AND WELL PROVIDED WITH ALL FACILITIES AND THE NEEDS OF ANY VISITORS. THE GARDEN WAS VERY SUNNY AND A PLEASURE TO BE IN. THE SHORT WALK TO THE TOWN WAS A GREAT ADVANTAGE FOR US OLDIES. THE GARDEN WAS VERY SECURE FOR OUR LITTLE DOG. WE WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOME FROM HOME TO ANY COTSWOLD LOVING VISITORS LOOKING FOR A GREAT BASE FOR THE BEST THAT THE AREA HAS TO OFFER.
Thank you so much for your kind feedback, and we welcome you back in the future and hope you recommend us to your friends and family. Property Owner
"Very well equipped house."
Nice shady garden too.
Thank you for your feedback Property Owner
"We had a great stay at Rosemead."
The house was spacious and comfortable with great facilities. An easy walk into Moreton-in-Marsh which had all we needed for our weeks stay. A great base for visiting the Cotswolds. The only suggestion we have is to look at the kettle. We rinsed out the limescale as best we could, but as there's no filter near the spout, it still ended up in our drinks. Easily fixed with a tea strainer, but perhaps the owners could look into changing it for future guests. Otherwise a fab stay and we would highly recommend Rosemead.
Thank you for your feedback. Apologies for the kettle, this has now been replaced with a new one. We hope to welcome you back in the future Regards, The Owners Property Owner
"Enjoyed a wonderful week in your beautiful home."
There was everything we could have thought of to make it a home from home. This is a great base for visiting the Cotswolds. Thank you.
Thank you for your feedback and we are pleased you had an enjoyable visit. Property Owner
"Beautiful cottage in a central location with lovely places to visit nearby."
Made very welcome with a lovely welcome pack and dogs welcome. Lovely and clean . Good layout and plenty of equipment Would recommend to others.
Thank you for your comments, we do hope you recommend us, and look forward to you coming back again in the future. Property Owner
"Fantastic week in the Cotswolds with gorgeous weather."
Rosemead is a lovely place to stay. Very clean and tidy with everything you needed. Lovely big kitchen area, comfortable beds. Would definitely stay again
Thank you for your comments, we hope you come and stay again. Property Owner
"Amazing week in the Cotswolds, weather gorgeous and Rosemead is a lovely base."
Everything you need for a week away is within this lovely house. Very comfortable, lots of space and a great kitchen. Walking distance into Moreton Water was a little cloudy, so we bought bottled water. Would love to visit again
Thank you for your kind comments, we look forward to welcoming you back again. Property Owner
"Lovely property, clean and everything we needed for a great stay."
Close to high street so no need to get in the car for every trip out, would recommend and would stay again

"We have just returned from a fabulous week's stay at Rosemead."
Ideally located just a 5-minute walk from the town which has a fabulous range of pubs, restaurants, shops and takeaways. Moreton in Marsh is a brilliant location for exploring the beautiful Cotswolds and we enjoyed getting the train a bit further afield to Evesham (15mins) and Oxford (35mins). So much to see and do in the area and the house itself was perfect for our family (2 adults and 2 young children). Stunning modern kitchen/dining/lounge area with bi-folds out onto the enclosed garden and a Smart TV. Separate cozier lounge with comfy sofas and 3 good-sized bedrooms, and a fabulous powerful shower! I would thoroughly recommend this cottage to anyone looking to explore The Cotswolds, great value for money in a lovely quiet cul-de-sac location but walking distance to so much.
Thank you for your kind comments, this is very much appreciated. Property Owner
"A lovely cottage, great location for all the town facilities."
Very well equipped, one of the best we have been to, and a perfect layout for dogs. The only downside was the blocked shower drain so we had to buy some stuff to unblock it! Not a huge problem though and I would go again.
Thank you for your kind comments, very much appreciated, sorry for the shower issue, the cleaners are checking this thoroughly between guests. Property Owner
"The house was very well equipped, close to all the amenities and all around the area was dog friendly"
"We have just spent Christmas at Rosemead."
What a wonderful cottage. It had everything we needed and more. Lovely Christmas decorations and welcome gifts. Very central to Morten in Marsh. We enjoyed the lovely restaurants in Morten along with the beautiful shop's and walks. The cottage gave us total piece and quiet and we came away feeling completely relaxed. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have already booked again for next Christmas.
"What a little gem."
..this house was pure luxury. Everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The extras like prosecco and cake were lovely touches. Superb kitchen, easy to operate central heating and nice garden with parking right outside the front door. We were there to attend my son's wedding in a nearby hotel. Everything you need is within walking distance, with a good train service to London Paddington. Would like to go back again to explore the local surroundings.
"Property well equipped and in a good location."
However, the hygiene and cleanliness of the property was a real issue. When we arrived it wasn’t cleaned to the standard we normally experience in a holiday rental. Some of the plates and cutlery were soiled and one of the towels in the bathroom had make up on it. Very disappointed will not be returning.
Thank you for your feedback above, we do apologies for the cleanliness of the property. Unfortunately the company we hired to do the property since the end of June, had been doing a wonderful job, and all feedback had been at 100%, but following the move of their premises in September, there seemed to be a drop of standard, which we brought to there attention, and after a few weeks of no improvement, we terminated their services the weekend you left. We have now instructed a new cleaning company, who started the week after you stayed, who have done great work, and we have had verbal feedback from guest that the property was very clean on arrival. Once again I can only apologies for the standard of the property. Property Owner
"Our fist time visiting the Cotswolds, the property was really nice and clean ( ..."
Our fist time visiting the Cotswolds, the property was really nice and clean ( wardrobe shelves dusty), lovely enclosed garden for our little dog, we booked for a 4 night stay, after the second night I found the bed in the front bedroom was so uncomfortable then we realised the bed is on a tilt, we looked and saw it was touching the floor on the left side but not on the right, this was causing me to feel like I was going to roll out every time I turned over , we came away a night early as I couldn’t sleep on it another night and didn’t want to use the zip link bed in the back room as another comment had been made that it was uncomfortable, other than that a lovely area, Bourton on the Water is a must visit, the Black Bear pub in the village and only a short walk away is also worth a visit
"The property was very spacious with a lovely garden and in a very good position just a short walk into town and to the station."
However it did need a good clean and the bathroom needs updating as there was black mould in the shower
Thank you for your feedback. Apologies if you feel the property was not clean, we changed our cleaning company a couple of months ago and have received high marks on cleanliness from previous guests. I have forwarded your feedback to the cleaning company. Best regards, Martyn Property Owner
"We had a lovely week here with my family, the house had everything you would need; definitely a home away from home."
Only issue we had was one night the smoke alarm battery started bleeping, my husband called the owners and it was sorted the next day. All in all a very good stay at Rosemead, which was very central for visiting other areas within the Cotswolds.
"Rosemead is in an excellent location - a five minute walk to the centre of Moreton-in-Marsh and not much further to the railway station."
Superb property, fantastically well equipped with a lovely enclosed garden, which was perfect for our dog. Much appreciated welcome pack. We had a great week.
"Lovely property in a very quiet area."
Excellent facilities and such a lovely large kitchen. So much to see and do round about that 2 weeks just wasnt enough. Great range of pubs in the village and literally only a 5 minute walk. Would most certainly return again.
"Well located home away from home."
Friendly neighbours and quiet spot, even the nearby railway line is not an issue. Kitchen extension with bifold doors into the garden is a delight in the good weather. Only slight issue was a sticking valve on downstairs toilet, otherwise it was everything that you would hope for in a holiday rental.
Great local restaurants. Perfect base for cycling. Would recommend. We will return.
"Really convenient location just minutes from the high street where you can find everything."
The house is very nice and well equipped, especially the kitchen. The beds are comfortable. There is a train track that runs along the property but trains only pass by very infrequently, dont make much noise and it only lasts seconds. The one negative was that the water is heavily chlorinated, which can be off putting when you’re not used to it. Kids mentioned the tap, shower and bath all smelled like a swimming pool.
"Great house, plenty of space, ideal for a family."
Secure garden, great for our dog. Well equipped kitchen for self catering. Bedding and towels excellent quality. Only criticism/observation :- more than a weeks worth of dust on skirting and ledges, also the ovens hadn’t been cleaned out. However none of that bothered us, the property and area was perfect for our much needed family get together. Thank you.
Thank you for your feedback. We can confirm we have employed a new cleaning company to do the change over, due to the feedback we have received from other guests as well. We are so pleased you enjoyed you stay at Rosemead and we hope you may consider coming back in the future. Best regards Property Owner
"Great location and beautiful kitchen dining area."
Bathroom was a bit dated. Lovely and warm
"Minor electrical trouble - the circuit breaker trips during the night - maybe get that checked?"
"Excellent. Thought the place was great."
Lovely and warm. About the only thing I could say was that maybe could do with a king size quilt on the double bed instead of double quilt. This is our 2nd visit in 3 months. So we definitely like it. Great location right in the middle of morten-in-marsh.
"On arrival Rosemead was immaculately clean with christmas decorations twinkling making us feel very welcome."
Also, in our opinion, very generous goodies left, including mulled wine, xmas cake and prosecco! Thank you. We throughly enjoyed our pre-Christmas stay and highly recommend.
"Lovely house, very handy for all the facilities of Moreton and a very cosy base from which to watch the snow fall!"
"Extremely warm and comfortable cottage to a high standard."
The TV in kitchen/diner a welcome addition. Great location, quiet but a stone's throw to centre. Would certainly recommend.
"The house was in a great location and had plenty of space."
The kitchen was well-equipped and the shower in the bathroom was brilliant. Having a bath and a shower was also great for a family property. However, unfortunately, the house was not very clean. There were cobwebs and spiders in all bedrooms and the carpet in the lounge contained lots of dog hair and looked as though it hadn’t been hoovered. The underside of the cushions on the corner sofa in the open-plan living space was also covered in dog hairs and food crumbs. When we attempted to clean them ourselves, we realised that the vacuum had no suction whatsoever, which is probably part of the problem. The beds were also extremely uncomfortable. After the first awful night’s sleep in the zip snd link bed, where I felt like I was rolling out of bed all night, we flipped the mattress which helped a little but they were still extremely soft and lacked any support. The mattress in the master bedroom was similar and extremely stained. Overall, the house was comfortable but at that price and in the current Covid climate especially, I would expect a much better state of cleanliness.
Dear Mrs Eley, I am so sorry for the stat of the cottage, we hire a company to do the change overs for us, and we do the garden, which enables us to check the cleanliness, but unfortunately we were away ourselves that weekend so we were not able to do the checks. We passed on your remarks to them and complained. We have since your stay booked out the cottage for ourselves to do some maintenance and cleaned the sofs ourselves as they were appalling. The hoover has been replaced. We will look at replacing the matresses in the future. Property Owner
"A beautiful comfy home in a very quiet cul de sac location, within easy walking distance to the town centre which offers an array of shops, pubs and restaurants."
We were welcomed to a tray of goodies, including tea, coffee, milk, cake & Prosecco Information guide on property and local amenities can be found in folder on table in the hall way. This really is a home from home cottage. Our party consisted of 4 adults and a westie dog,, we were pleasantly surprised at the size of the property. The stunning high tech modern open plan kitchen was very well equipped, all cleaning products provided as well as - tea towels, wul, dishwasher tablets and washing power, so no need to bring. Large dinning table and chairs, L-shaped sofa. Bio folding doors leading onto a good size garden. Two good size double bedrooms and a single, all towels were provided and plenty of storage space although pictures do not show. A lovely size lounge with ample seating to snuggle up after a long day out. The property does have a downstairs toilet and very handy for larger groups. The garden does back onto a railway line - the noise did not affect us in any way and to be honest was nice to hear the trains come through as in such a quiet location. This cottage is a great base to explore the surrounding area, we would highly recommend and we would definitely come back. Would like to make a suggestion - A TV in the open plan living space would of been an added bonus as we spent most of our time in this area.
Dear Mrs Lowther, Thank you for your kind compliments, so glad you enjoyed your stay. We have installed a Smart TV on a swivel bracket in the open plan living space, so can be viewed from sofa, dining or kitchen area. We look forward to welcoming you back. Property Owner
"Rosemead proved to be an excellent base for exploring the Cotswolds."
Five of us stayed in the cottage (4 adults and a teenager) and were very comfortable as there was plenty of room for all of us. The garden was lovely and it was great to be able to open the doors to the garden on a warm day. Moreton-in-marsh is a lovely town and there are plenty of options for eating out I can recommend the Redesdale Arms and the Siam Kitchen. We agreed that would all stay there again if we returned to the area.
"A clean and quiet house, with easy access to the pubs and restaurants in the village."
We enjoyed our stay. It was exceptionally hot weather when we visited and had to get a couple of electric fans from the supermarket to deal with the heat. The bathroom and downstairs toilet could do with a latch to lock from the in side.
"The description of this property was good however I feel a few points could be added for this property to stand out more."
The property is in a quiet cul-de-sac. On arrival the property was tidy, all cleaning equipment, sprays, soap, tea towles, oven gloves & toilet roll, were included. We were advised to bring all this with us however were not needed. We were welcomed with a tray of goodies, bottle of prosecco cake, coffee, tea & milk. The property is well equipped with modern interior. The kitchen was high spec with an extention with a large dining table & L shaped sofa. Bifolding doors lead out to enclosed garden with outside table & chairs. We took a stair gate with us which we put on the kitchen doorway to ensure our dog did not have the roam of the house. As we spent most of our time in this area, a TV on the wall would of been an added bonus. There was a downstairs WC which should be added to the description, ideal for larger families staying. After reading a previous review, we were worried about the noise from the trains which pass the back garden. This did not bother us at all. The noise was minimal as not a main rail line and not high speed trains passing. The first & last train of the day did not disturb our sleep. The property is 5mins walking distance to the village. Only faults I could point out - there is no smart TV, so take a TV guide. I would recommend having a stair gate at the property. The recycling & rubbish bins were out of sight however overflowing already on arrival. The garden is large enough to include a hot tub which would have been nice, we have had in previous staycations for the price we paid. This property is a great base for visiting surrounding villages. We would stay again.
Dear Mrs Leddington, Thank you for your positive feedback, which some details we will update on the property description. We have added a Smart TV into the open plan kitchen and purchased a stair gate which guests can use if they want to. The bins are collected fortnightly on a Monday, so unfortunately they may be full on a Saturday arrival, which we are unable to do anything about. Property Owner
"Include downstairs toilet in brochure as one toilet was a concern before we arrived!"
Cottage very comfortable and excellent for a break in the Cotswolds
"There are two things which require attention in the property The hot water tap on the basin in the bathroom cannot be regulated and the cistern in the ground floor toilet does not always cut off."
On one occasion this caused flooding in the room and hall We were warned about the proximity of the railway, which didn't bother us at all, but nothing was said about the totally disfunctional family next door who scream at each other from day break to mid night and beyond.I feel this may cause real problems with future tenants.
"This is a beautiful cottage in a really lovely market town."
The cottage itself was so well equipped and like a home away from home. The cottage was spotless and the garden was a really relaxing place to sit, on the lovely sunny evenings we had. The large open plan kitchen was stunning and a lovely place for us to come together as a family. We would definitely return to this cottage. Thank you.
