"Well appointed equipped property."
Great transport links with the railway station so close. Great pub selling real ales and cider.

"Already mentioned some of these items when we checked out as nice to haves (especially as we stayed for 10 days): 1."
Drying rack would be useful as no tumble dryer to complement washing machine 2. More hangers for the wardrobe, 6 was not enough for a longer stay 3. Internet speed could be better - I 'worked from home' two of the days and it struggled with video calls 4. Kitchen roll (paper towels) in the kitchen
Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We really appreciate the suggestions you mentioned during checkout—especially since you stayed with us for 10 days, your insights are invaluable. We’ll look into adding a drying rack, more hangers, and kitchen roll for future stays. Regarding the internet speed, we’re sorry it didn’t quite meet your needs, and we’re exploring options to improve the connection to better support remote working. Your comments help us enhance the experience for all our guests. ABC Holiday Cottages Property Owner

"Lovely place."
Shame the heating wasn't working when we arrived and nothing was done for the whole tome we were there, other than the pub below loaned a small electric heat which was not really much use. Doing our visit the temperature in the accommodation never got above 10c hence we were both ill. The owners do not reply to any emails.
Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re very sorry to hear about the heating issues during your stay and the discomfort it caused you. This is certainly not the standard we strive to provide, and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience. We also regret that our communication did not meet your expectations. Please know that your feedback is taken very seriously, and we are looking into this matter to ensure it does not happen again. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention . "The only downside was the technology: 1) the inability of the smart TV to connect to the internet to allow on demand services 2) the fact that you needed to get a Wi-Fi code from the reception which should really be left in the property for the renters 3) the Wi-Fi continually dropping out after two hours or so The rest of the facilities etc were great and I would happy stay again."
Thank you for your feedback and for highlighting what you enjoyed about your stay. We appreciate your comments regarding the technology, and we’re sorry for any inconvenience caused by the smart TV connection issues and the Wi-Fi interruptions. Your suggestion about leaving the Wi-Fi code in the property is very helpful, and we’ll certainly consider this to improve the experience for future guests. We’re glad to hear the rest of the facilities met your expectations and that you’d be happy to stay again. We look forward to welcoming you back! ABC Holiday Cottages Property Owner

"Lovely apartment - great location for short walk (10 - 15 minutes) to Alvechurch and all its amenities."
Parking at pub/marina secured overnight. Weighbridge pub friendly with great service and good food. Close to canal paths for easy walks to more local pubs. Already thinking of booking for next year!

"The property was spotlessly clean, comfy and provided a good base to explore the area."
All the staff including in the pub below were very friendly. We found the TV OK but if was tuned into WiFi, it could be better. There were plenty of dishes, pots, pans etc but we didn't locate chopping boards. Overall, we'd definitely visit again.
Thank you for your feedback. We’re so pleased you found the property spotlessly clean and comfortable, and that it served as a great base for exploring the area. It’s wonderful to hear that both our staff and the pub team made you feel welcome. We appreciate your feedback about the TV and the kitchen equipment—we’ll look into adding chopping boards to improve the experience. ABC Holiday Cottages Property Owner

Alvechurch is a lovely, large village resting in the Bromsgrove district in Worcestershire. Sitting 11 miles south of Birmingham, 5 miles north of Redditch and 6 miles east of Bromsgrove, this village is known for having a number of Medieval, Edwardian and Victorian buildings as well as many newer residential buildings after the old school was demolished which bought about a new estate with road names paying homage to the former school houses. There are wealth of attractions in the village with the Village Green and Wiggin Memorial Playing Field for kids with dining options including The Weighbridge Inn for local pub grub and The Tudor Rose Fish Bar for some classic takeout fish and chips. You can stock up on essentials at the local Co-op Food store before seeing sights further out in Birmingham which offers a host of activities such as Cadbury World, Cannon Hill Park and the National SEA LIFE Centre.
