  • "The house is in a stunning location, 5 mins drive from the M18, 2 mins drive from Quin and 15 mins drive from Ennis."

Received a very warm welcome from Maria and Tony, and Maria's fresh homemade Scones were delicious, also provided was milk, tea and coffee. The house is very traditional and beautiful from the outside, and has recently been modernised inside to an exceptional standard, lovely lounge, hallway, and large kitchen, and large bathroom, with toilet, separate bath and shower are on the ground floor, upstairs one double bedroom has onsuite, with separate access to it for the other 2 bedrooms, one double and one large twin, the house in a very quiet spot away from the main road into Quin, surrounded by meadows (the clue was in the name) and plenty of wildlife as well as cattle. There is a driveway to the rear of the property with ample parking. Quin has amongst other shops, a Groceries/Bakery shop, pharmacy and 3 bars, we was recommended the Abbey Tavern for food by Tony and wasn't disappointed, after a meal you can walk it off around the Quin Friary. We would definitely stay again, especially as its a great base to explore County Clare, Galway and Limerick. Once again, thank you Maria and Tony for sharing your family home with us.

The house was beautiful refinished and had all the amenities for our family of 6. Maria and Tony were so helpful with all our needs and Maria even provided fresh scones and tea on our arrival. It was absolutely perfect location, size, cleanliness. The owners were the perfect host did everything to make us feel welcome: having milk, eggs, bread, fresh biscuits. Amazing. We would absolutely recommend staying here and we would definitely stay here again. My husband and kids loved waking up to the cows( they were not loud at all very friendly). Thank you for everything

  • "This large property was reasonably priced, clean, well presented, and had all the amenities that we could possibly want."

Our hosts Tony and Maria had left a welcome pack with the basics and a plate of homemade scones that were delicious. We have stayed in many cottages in Ireland and would rate this in the top 3 for comfort. It is 5 minutes away from Quin by car which is a lovely village with an old abbey, a couple of pubs and shops. We would like to thank Tony and Maria for their care throughout our stay and will probably return. Highly recommended. Thank you.

  • "We recently stayed at Tony and Maria’s house."

Our first impression was to meet them as welcoming hosts, followed with fresh scones and start up supplies. The house is so homely, welcoming and had everything we needed. We were fortunate to choose this beautiful house newly renovated with care and attention to every detail,, we couldn’t find any fault. The house was gleaming, you could see your reflection in the fridge and bath. It is also a great base for alot of main attractions and we loved getting back to the comfort of the house in the evening. Thank you Maria and Tony. We will recommend and definitely visit again.

The house is modern, bright and very clean. Hosts, Maria and Tony could not have been more hospitable. Everything is there for your use including a hairdryer! If coming from US - the only thing you need to bring is a converter to plug in your phone etc. I’ve travelled to Ireland many times and will report that this was the best place I’ve stayed. You will not be disappointed! Go!

  • "Meadow View is an exceptionally enjoyable experience."

Great views out onto the lanes of County Clare and well located near the old village of Quin with its beautiful old Abbey, so well preserved. The road network into Ennis, a lovely lively town, and onto the motorway networks meant that we could explore the many jewels of Clare and come back to a relaxing, warm and friendly house - strongly recommend this and the accommodating owners who welcomed and introduced us too.
