"We simply had a perfect time at Finn's house."
I could list out the reasons why, but, if you are reading this and are intending to visit this part of Kerry, don't hesitate to book. The house itself is beautiful - wonderfully kept, warm, well equipped, private and perfectly situated for visiting the best of the area. An extra note; as we were booking at a difficult time in the midst of varying covid conditions, arriving to a welcome hamper started everything off on a wonderful note.

"House was situated around everywhere we wanted to go."
Close to beach 15 minutes got you there walking. Pub and lovely restaurant just down the lane where house was situated. Conar pass and Dingle only minutes away. And our dog bailey enjoyed it as well . Closed in yard at back was great for him. Peace and quiet was lovely. House was lovely and cosy especially when u had a turf fire lighting. Would highly recommend this house. We will go back again maybe next year.

"The Finn house was fantastic."
The home was beyond any expectation you could ever imagine. You have the beautiful mountains behind you, which we climbed to the top of and the 12 mile beach in front of the house which we walked to and enjoyed every day. The home was so private I thought our family might be the only one staying in the village.
But just walk down your own private road and Tomasins 5 star pub and restaurant was right there. The home was excellent I couldn’t believe every one of the 4 bedrooms had their own bathroom. Off the kitchen was a beautiful sunroom where we enjoyed our full Irish breakfast every day. Off the sunroom was a beautiful outdoor area for outdoor dining or sunbathing or just having conversations with friends and family while looking up at the mountains beyond. The heating system was awesome but to top it off if you wanted to really relax and get in the mood you could just light a peat fire in their fireplace and feel the incredible history of Stradbally village come to life.
In my opinion you wont find a better place to stay in Ireland!
I’m from Boston but I’ll be back every year to stay at the Finn house to rekindle our love for the Stradbally/ Castlegregory area on the wild Kerry coast.

Gorgeous views all around. House very good except no free view and dvd didn’t work in latter part of the week. Beaches spectacular and a fantastic pub and restaurant/takeaway down the lane. Really worth a visit.

"As usual, Finn House was an amazing place to get away and relax."
The house is immaculately kept. The owners are friendly and easy to communicate with. It's a perfect jaunt to the beach. The perfect place to get away from it all. (If you need wifi you'll have to find another place to stay.) This is definitely a place to unplug.

"A lovely four night stay and the cottage was so much better than we expected from the photos."
The cottage is in a really quiet location and was really spacious and even with the terrible weather meant that we had plenty of space with 4 adults and 2 children. Most of the bedrooms are ensuite and there is a family bathroom. The kitchen has everything you need and the utility room with a washer and a dryer were really helpful to have. The only things I would say is that it could do with wifi and we would have been happy to pay extra for this so is something for the owner to think about. Also some of the soft furnishings and bedding upstairs could do with an update as they are a bit old fashioned but saying that everything was clean and tidy so not a big issue and we were out a lot exploring the peninsular. The cottage is really quiet and has a fantastic view of the hills behind and also the sea at the front. There is a mezzanine level with a sofa which is great for relaxing on and reading.
Maharanees Beach is beautiful and we enjoyed exploring Connor Pass, Dingle, Fahan Beehive huts and the basket Islands visitor centre. The Peninsular is stunning even in bad weather. Castlgregory had some good pubs and shops for essentials. We would love to go back in the summer months when we could take advantage of the great water sports in the area. We would definitely book the cottage again.

"The Finn House was just fantastic - there wasn't anything we needed that wasn't provided."
From the welcome basket to the information provided, the house was so well equipped. More special though, was it was warm and welcoming, perfect for our family with plenty of room to relax and take in the beautiful views. Wish we had more time to just linger for a few more days and explore the area. We enjoyed the evenings my the turf fire after a full day of exploring Ireland. I hope one day we can return.

"Amazing House, everything was thought off for us when we arrived."
Mr Finn was so friendly and even left us a hamper with tea, coffee, biscuits, milk and WINE!!!!
We had an amazing holiday, met some very friendly, polite and funny locals. The pub at the bottom of the lane did an amazing Chinese take away.....yummy!!!!
Ned Natterjacks (try saying that when you have had a few) was the most friendliest pub I have ever been in, the live music was out of this world. Food was fabulous, and they baked my friend a great anniversary cake! We didn't want to leave.
We are already looking at booking our next holiday to Ireland and can't wait to take the kids to Finn House.
Thank you for letting us rent your amazing house.
All the Best
A Court and friends xx
