It is secluded with its own entrance and opening doors on to the patio area, where you can sit in privacy admiring the beautiful garden or listen to the birds. No traffic! The cottage is beautifully decorated, clean and guidelines outlining the Covid-19 are adhered too. We went out everyday visiting local places such as Chard, Bridport ,Lyme Regis ,Crewkerne and Ilminster. We thoroughly enjoyed wandering around these clean towns and visiting the many lovely shops, antique or emporiums. The cottage is well equipped so cooking lovely evening meals was home from home. The Annex is in a wonderful village with superb walks at every corner and some views/ sunsets to die for. Chard and Ilminster are very close by car as is Taunton with plenty of “eat out” places and also gastro pubs within walking distance. If you choose the Candlelight pub for lunch there is a lovely walk through a woods with a babbling brook for company.
