The cottage is comfortable and spacious with a very generous garden. The owners and their family were very welcoming and were happy to advise on the local area and offered a place walk the dog within the farms property. I would highly recommend.

The cottage was extremely comfortable, immaculately clean, and had everything we could have needed. We looked specifically for a garden so our children could safely go outside and the outside space was lovely, looking out over the fields was just what we needed. The beds were so comfortable we even had a nose at which mattress it was so we could get one when we got home. The cottage was cool on the hot days which we really appreciated, and cosy when the evening cooled down. Our host was so accommodating and friendly, and we enjoyed our whole stay.

The enclosed garden is a wonderful space to let your furry friends roam freely and safely, and the adjoining land is a joy to experience. We ventured out most days as we had glorious weather and visited lots of quaint towns and villages. The coast line is simply beautiful in that part of the world; we visited Bude, Ilfracombe, Woolacombe, Paignton and Torquay. Janine was a pleasure, very helpful and kind and it was great to meet the three pet pigs. All in all, we had a fabulous week in rural Devon, thank you!

"We had a lovely week at Cherry Blossom Cottage."
The owners were friendly but not OTT. We loved their dog Lola she even came for a walk with us around the grounds. We really loved the shower it was spacious and modern. The cottage is cosy and comfortable especially the beds. The private enclosed garden was perfect for our 2 large dogs. Would Recommend. The welcome cake and milk was a nice touch.

Cherryblossom Cottage is a delightful retreat situated in the charming village of Monkokehampton near Winkleigh, Devon.
This family-friendly haven welcomes two four-legged friends for the holiday fun, making it an ideal getaway for families or friends seeking a serene countryside escape.
Behind the doors at Cherryblossom Cottage, you will be greeted by a spacious open-plan area, thoughtfully designed to cater to all your needs.
The chef of the group can utilise the kitchen area to cook up some delightful feasts which can be enjoyed at the dining table, or al fresco style in the warmer months!
Unwind in the evenings with your feet up in front of the Smart TV while you glowing embers from the woodburning stove keep you toasty.
For those longer stays, there is an external utility that houses a washing machine for your convenience.
The outside area is a real highlight, offering a spacious enclosed back garden for your furry friends to roam and two very appropriate cherry blossom trees, walkers are also welcome to take a path down to the stream from the cottage.

Winkleigh is a small rural village in the heart of Devon's rolling countryside and offers a shop, post office, butcher and a cafe, plus two pubs, one which offers food and the chance to sample traditional ciders and scrumpy from the Winkleigh Cider Company. A van which serves delicious fish and chips also comes to the village twice a week. Winding lanes, high hedgerows and a more gentle pace of life characterise the area. The open tors of Dartmoor are a big attraction for nature lovers and walkers, while the hills of Exmoor and the surfing beaches can all be reached in 40 minutes by car. Historic Torrington, home to RHS Rosemoor and an arts centre is just 13 miles away, whilst the Cathedral City of Exeter with its Roman city walls, shopping centre, theatre and restaurants makes a great day out.
