  • "Can't fault property itself."

Garden stunning. We had full quota of family staying. There's simply not enough outside seating and seating is needed both sides of garden. No BBQ. I have NEVER hired where there's has not been what should be standard. Treats left very nice thank you. But also basics of salt and pepper???? We didn't bring as again these minimal standard?? No colander??? For 8 people trying to strain pasta and vegetables through a small sieve? And not enough clothes pegs. We had issues with WiFi and owner was extremely upsetting to my daughter who contacted her to say we were having issues. My daughter was polite. Owner, At around 4-5pm on the Saturday said that if we were not happy she was happy to return my money and we could go elsewhere!!!!!!!???????? Saturday late afternoon evening? 6 adults and 3 children? All unpacked and settled?????? This is APPALLING treatment! Owner said never had issues with WiFi normally..... Engineer came out mid week and said he has been so many times out to the house he knows his way with his eyes shut! Apparently constant issues as a cable outside regularly gets cut by local farmer ploughing! Owner's Tone and remarks were utterly inappropriate, unreasonable and rather cruel. I'm seriously unhappy about this. We were comfortable at the property but this left a very bad underlying air to our week......

  • "We loved Ribby Farmhouse - the only thing we felt was missing were more outdoor chairs and some sun loungers."

  • "Probably the best property we have ever rented."

We were two elderly couples staying in an, obviously, oversized house, but even for eight people it would have been spacious. The property is remote and the weather was awful, but we were extermely warm and comfortable. We would happily return but we are about to get a puppy, so this will preclude us in the future.

  • "Truly wonderful property in a beautiful peaceful location."

The views from every window are amazing! Lovely garden, and great walks along the river. The owner is very friendly and helpful. (Small point - the living room lacks some of the furnishings shown on the website, now looking a little bare in comparison.)

  • "A huge fabulous house and garden."

Feels remote, but just a 25 minute uphill walk back from the pub in Lerryn. Very private. Could do with a bit more garden furniture scattered around, especially a couple of loungers on the balcony to watch the night sky, stars were amazing on the one cloudless night we had. Only let down by very poor internet connection, kept going off! Impossible to stream tv. And with no games or books in the cottage this became a problem.

The cottage was well equipped for everything we needed and was very homely in a beautiful location. We would highly recommend staying here for an amazing holiday. The owners were friendly and very helpful. Thank you for a great holiday.

  • "Really lovely property in a brilliant position!"

The property is well equipped, although the cupboard behind the kitchen door took us a day to find. An area handbook would be a good addition, we did leave some literature in the dresser drawer which will hopefully be of use to others. Overall though we had a great stay.

  • "Superb property in a lovely secluded location."

Even better than the listings though these may have been updated. We were blessed with a beautiful sunny week, so didn't get to use all the inside space to its full advantage, but the outside table seated our 8 comfortably for every meal. Wonderful views across the valley too. Good short drive access (through narrow Cornish lanes) to beautiful Lantic and Lansallos National Trust beaches if you have two strong legs for the walks down and back up!

The photographs on your site don't do justice to to the wonderful position of the property and its extensive grounds and views. We had a fab time Thanks

  • "The house had some problems with the heating system so we had to have engineers out on more that than one occasion, but the owners went above and beyond to try and get it sorted quickly."

There was also an issue with the en suite shower not being hot but they sorted that quickly. Think because it's a new home it's just having some teething problems, especially as it is now winter and you find these things out. Otherwise the house is lovely, done up really well, has all the equipment needed and more. Lovely touches like scones and wine on arrival

  • "Stunning property and location."

I booked last minute for a family holiday with our three year old and absolutely loved staying at the farmhouse. The owners have gone to town with the decor of the property with Laura Ashley furnishings, lovely antiques and spacious living rooms. The property is very well equipped, a luxury to stay here. The gardens and Woodlands are stunning, my son loved exploring the grounds. I can't highly recommend this property enough and will definitely be booking again in the near future.

  • "We felt extremely lucky to have been able to book this wonderful house."

Everything was newly refurbished, it was beautifully decorated, and the equipment was all brand new throughout the house. It is in a delightfully secluded location. There is a lovely garden with seating, perfect for a drink in the evening. The host was exceptionally helpful and welcoming, and easy to contact when we wanted some information about the local area. She went to great lengths to ensure that our stay was comfortable and that we had everything we needed. She provided a complimentary welcome pack including milk, bread, tea, coffee, wine, scones and cream. If you want a quiet and peaceful environment with all the mod-cons, then this is for you. We could not have asked for a better place to stay or a warmer welcome.
