“The chalet was lovely and clean and had everything we needed.”

It was near too local amenities and attractions. Only one criticism was the blinds were very dirty and could do with a clean. Apart from this the place spotless and Covid safe. We had a wonderful time.

The property

Found within Norton Park, a charming collection of chalets surrounded by beautiful countryside and just outside the centre of Dartmouth in South Devon, is 304 Norton Park.

Offering simple and attractive holiday accommodation enjoying a great location for reaching the region’s best attractions, a small family is sure to enjoy their stay here.

An open-plan living space provides a great place to unwind after a busy day of exploring, and why not enjoy a game on the PlayStation provided while spreading out on the sofas.

Enjoy a night in and cook up a classic dish within the modest kitchen, featuring the essential appliances such as an electric oven, microwave and a fridge.

Serve dinner on the dining table, a perfect opportunity to gather around and discuss what your favourite part of the day was, and what you've got planned for the rest of the holiday.

The kids can play out on the large lawned area outside, shared with the other chalets, while you can sit at the picnic bench and take it slow.

When it's time for rest, find a pretty double bedroom and a twin bedroom, both benefiting from a wardrobe with windows looking out to the luscious green beyond, and a shower room sits next door where you can wake up with a hot shower and begin your day refreshed.

Go into the town centre of Dartmouth to begin your adventures at Dartmouth Castle, a picturesque fortress, it guards the narrow entrance to the Dart Estuary and the port of Dartmouth, it's sure to amaze at any age!

Enjoy wandering the streets and finding excellent cafés and restaurants to stop at, in between darting in and out of independent shops and businesses and walking along the waterfront.

For a day at the seaside, head to nearby Blackpool Sands, one of the country's top beaches, sunbathe and relax, or for those who love some adrenaline, hire a kayak or a paddle board for some exciting fun in the sea!

About the location

DARTMOUTH

Totnes 12 miles.

Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through picturesque countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat trip across to Kingswear and on to Brixham, a pretty little harbour town. For those seeking some beach activities, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blue Flag Award winner Blackpool Sands, and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular and just a stone's throw from Dartmouth. A relaxing location in South Devon.
