"This is our sixth time staying at Robinson’s Row and yet again it ticks all the boxes."
We love the house, the layout works brilliantly for two families and the garden is a delight.
-
"Thank you for sharing your delightful home here in Salcombe."
Enjoyed a week of mixed weather. Three generations, ideal location.

"I reported a fault to the Chester office, about an issue with the tap in one bedroom."
No one contacted me to make any arrangement for the repair. The fault was then mended while I was out. Someone had entered the cottage to do this, without my permission and without contacting me. This is unacceptable. and was an intrusion of the space I had rented . I feel very uncomfortable about it.
Thank you for your feedback. We are glad that we had the opportunity to explain the misunderstanding. We would never intentionally arrange a contractor to visit a property without the guests permission. We are truly sorry that you felt uncomfortable and hope that you still had a lovely holiday. "We phoned and asked if there was a freezer."
We we’re told there was a fridge which MIGHT have an ice compartment. When we arrived we found a larder fridge in the pantry and a fridge/freezer in the kitchen. It would have been a huge advantage to know that beforehand. Apart from that the property was very comfortable and spacious. Also perfectly situated.

"Great location but you need to be mobile as it’s steep to get too and car is parked a miles walk away"
-
"Fantastic family home and location being both quiet and right in the centre of town."
Layout of bedrooms means it is perfect for two families of 4 to share without being on top of each other in the morning or at night. Kitchen is well equipped and living area is really comfortable. Beds are comfy with fantastic view from main master room. No parking but you don’t really need your car unless going out away from Salcombe. We parked for free on the roads near the top of the town and when we needed the car the driver picked up the rest of the family from Devon Road - a 1 minute walk up the footpath accessed from the back of the house/garden. This avoided having to drive down Fore Street which can be very busy. We will definitely book this property again.

"Property was a little damp smelling downstairs, could go with heating or airing ."
Beautiful garden & views. Would be nice to have a permit for the house to park .

"We absolutely loved the cottage and had a fantastic two weeks, we would love to come and stay again."
A few minor points of feedback - generally the house was very clean, but it might be worth passing onto your cleaner that part of the master bath had been missed, all of the kitchen knives could do with a good sharpen, it would be great to have a few dishwasher tablets provided if possible to kick off the trip and finally we really feel that we have a responsibility to recycle wherever we are and this was not given as an option at this cottage.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback. We were really pleased to read that the property was comfortable, clean and provided you with everything you required during your stay. Thank you for bringing to our attention the kitchen utensils, we will pass this onto the owner. Coast and Country Cottages on behalf of, Property Owner

"We would like to book the house for the same week next year!"

"Hello I sent you an email about this but have not had a reply."
When we stripped the beds of the linen, as requested for Covid, every pillow and mattress protector was stained. The pillows did not have an extra protection case. I thought this was the requirement for covid letting vacations? Please in future can you arrange for the mattress protectors to be cleaned as well and the pillows cleaned with extra covers needed for your future letting. We had a lovely week, but It was a real shock and we were really sad to think we had slept on these stained bedding covers for a whole week. Thank you.
“Thank you for your comments and we are pleased that you enjoyed your stay at our cottage. We can assure you that, although old, the protectors had all been regularly cleaned. We have however now replaced them with new covers. We do hope you will come and visit us again.” from the Owners of 11 Robinson's Row Property Owner

"We have stayed in this house before and as previously loved the location and the garden which really makes the house."
We had glorious weather which helps! We were impressed that on request a cafetière was quickly supplied, however the kitchen is under equipped with far too many saucepans, but not enough glasses (some large glasses for water and beer drinkers would be great), limited crockery meant the dishwasher was used more than should be needed. All in all however it is a great house for groups and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.
