"We struggled with the locks of the front and back door all week."
We were told no one had complained about them before. We note the June review. We were told no one staying in the huts had complained of problems with the Wi-fi when we pointed it out as intermittent. That blasted glass shelf caused me a number of painful knocks - my taller husband largely escaped them. We suggest a drawer might be built under the sofa. We had to store our underwear, socks and other clothes in our suitcases. The beach hut was lovely and clean - thank you. The bed very comfortable. The shower good. It wasn't possible to change in the small bathroom. We closed the blinds and changed by the front door. It was lovely to sit on the patio for breakfast. Children had hours of fun on the boat store next to the patio using it as a climbing frame and den. This indeed is out of the owners control and after all they weren't doing anything wrong but the noise drove us nuts. It was heaven to return to the peace and quiet of home.

"Whilst appreciating it's a beach hut it was very poorly configured as regards to putting your clothes anywhere some coat hooks inside the door was about it a rail in the space fixed above the radiator would have been far more efficient, we found the clear glass surround on the hob extractor positively dangerous and both hit our heads on it a couple of times we felt the space by the sink and under the ladder would have been better used by having a small unit with draws for clothes."
The noise from kids playing on the boat and board rack right outside our door was extremely loud while their parents relaxed 50 yes away we had issues with both locks front and back and the TV reception was non existent with the WiFi we managed to get a few channels for a while but not continuous, we used my tablet to watch TV in the end as I've had TV,s on cruises I've never had such a poor experience they did send someone out to look at the indoor ariel which was just left hanging on our return later that day overall extremely disappointing.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m sorry to hear that some aspects of your stay didn’t meet your expectations. The beach hut is a compact and quirky space designed to offer a unique seaside experience, and while it doesn’t have the layout of a traditional holiday property, many guests enjoy its simplicity and charm there is a clothes rail with hangers and the front door is a modern secure five lock door.secure five lock door. That said, I do appreciate your comments. The noise from nearby activity is unfortunately outside of our control, particularly in a communal, family-friendly setting like this one I hope there were still parts of your stay that you enjoyed. "I think as a older person when renting out to let them know about the bed situation and no were to put your cloths On saying that it was done to a high specifications and very modern oven hob and microwave we’re all touch button maybe sorting out the bin situation."
Tellingpeople where the vents are to open in the roof maybe update the information leaflet that dates back to Covid
Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We can confirm that the guest information book is updated and available in the property. Property Owner

"It's a beach hut, given the limitations of the space it was a great experience."
We had a lovely time. The stay could've been greatly improved with a parasol on the patio. The one provided was useless, tiny and with a screw clamp.

"Could not find the replacement hob to start off with and no hot water in the kitchen."
Only in the shower had to boil the kettle to wash up. Terrace unuseable during the day as children constantly playing on the metal bars outside we advised as unsafe but did not go down well with parents. Could not relax. Did not report the hot water as only there for weekend and did not want it to consume the weekend.
Thanks so much for your feedback. I’m really sorry to hear that a few things weren’t quite right during your stay. Apologies for the confusion with the hob and for the lack of hot water in the kitchen – that’s definitely not ideal, and I understand how frustrating that must have been, even for a short visit. We’ll be looking into that right away to make sure it doesn’t happen again and sorry you did'nt contact us. We really do appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. Hopefully, if you decide to return in the future, we can give you a much smoother stay. Property Owner

"Beach Hut 5 offers a beautiful setting, with the sea right outside—it's a real treat waking up and going to sleep to the sound of the waves."
The location is also great, with local amenities nearby. While the hut is compact, which can make it a bit warm at times, it's a charming and cozy stay that's perfect for a seaside getaway.

"We really enjoyed our stay at no."
5 and have booked again for next year. We loved waking up in the morning to the wonderful view and having breakfast on the patio and a glass of wine watching the amazing sunset. The location was 1st class and the beach was kitted out well with good quality stuff. Lots of places to visit.

"The Beach Hut number 5 was sparkling clean, warm (underfloor heating), comfortable and bedding was excellent quality, also very clean."
I especially liked the obviously freshly laundered pillow protectors. Patio outside with sun umbrella (unfortunately not needed) was a very thoughtful extra. Unfortunately the television signal was VERY intermittent to the point of unwatchable on ITV. BBC through BBC I Player was much better. Being a lone occupant I found lack of television extremely maddening. David, from Sykes Cottages phoned leaving a voicemail for me. I returned the call but after waiting 10 minutes for an advisor, I pressed the star button for a call back. A day later…I’m still waiting. However, apart from the television problem, I would wholeheartedly recommend Beach Hut 5z
