"We had a lovely stay, the apartment had everything we needed and was very thought out."
We had a toddler with us and it was ideal as he could roam the open plan kitchen and front room. Rod was very kind and left us bread, butter, milk, eggs and biscuit which was very kind and perfect for a cup of tea as soon as we arrived after a long journey! The location of the property was perfect, lovely pubs and walks very local and Rod recommended some great places for us to try which didn’t disappoint! They even put up a Christmas tree for us as we stayed over the holidays which made the stay extra special. Would defiantly return and stay here again, can’t fault it!

"Large clean apartment with all mod cons."
Great to be directly on the 'high street' in Brockenhurst with easy access to shops, cafes etc and to feel part of the village community. Parking around the back of the property (space for one vehicle) - access could be quite tight for a largish SUV. Loved our stay here and would recommend.

"The Apothecary is a really comfortable and spotless duplex apartment in a beautiful New Forest Village."
Lots of extras were included too - thanks R & C. We were only there for three nights so didn’t have the opportunity to sample all the eateries but those we did try were all well worth the visit. The only minor fly in the ointment was the lack of a wc on the top floor but that obviously couldn’t be helped. The back lane was tight but the next door car was a Volvo estate so most family cars should manage ok. Overall, highly recommended.

"The property is super clean and spacious."
We really enjoyed being in Brockenhurst and found it to be well situated for most places in the New Forest. Having our own space was useful also. The kitchen is really well and thoughtfully stocked. The bed linen and towels are all new of good quality. We struggled with only having one small bin for a week and found the property very warm - maybe a fan will be needed for the summer months.

"This is a brilliant place to stay."
It was clean, spacious and well equipped for our family of four. We have two small children who loved their time here and the place was really well suited with stair gates on each level to make it safe for the little ones. The location is fantastic- with everything you could need on the door step. There are lots of things to do in the local area (highlights for us were highcliffe castle beach, beaulieu, and The Pig). The owners were very responsive if we needed anything. Would return in a heartbeat.

Ideally located for a visit to the area. Many things to see and do within easy reach. Local shops provide everything you need if you want to dine in, with some excellent places to eat in the town if you choose to dine out.

"The ‘Apothecary’ was perfect for a stay in the New Forest."
Being in the centre of Brockenhurst means you can forget the car if you want to because there are lovely walks from the front door. There’s also a really good selection of pubs, cafes and restaurants. Parking is easy with one allocated space and a large pay and display opposite. Other lovely towns and villages are also within easy reach. The apartment is lovely to come back to after a day out. It’s warm and comfortable with plenty of space. The kitchen’s really well equipped, so you can cook easily. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Spacious, superbly equipped and spotlessly clean. Great location in the New Forest. Walking and cycling trails from Brockenhurst, and lots of places to eat within walking distance of The Apothecary. Short drive to the coast and other towns and attractions.

The apartment was large, clean and well equipped. It is also very well located close to the shops/restaurants etc and within easy walking distance to walks through the forest. The owner was really helpful and went out of their way to accommodate us for our stay. We would definitely recommend a stay at The Apothecary.

Brockenhurst is an attractive village lying just a few miles south of Lyndhurst, perfect for unique strolls, picnics, or sightseeing. The village is well known for a diversity of shops, tearooms, pubs and high quality restaurants, certainly worth a visit. There are also forest tours with wagon and horses, forest walks of varying lengths, suited for all visitors. Every year there is a village fête on the Bank Holiday Monday in August. Brockenhurst is within a few miles of the sea and the heart of the forest is only a few minutes walk away. Cadnam, is within reaching distance, and Lyndhurst is a great place for families to enjoy fresh air and wide open spaces, whilst a short journey from Lyndhurst village centre showcases extensive grasslands with turf kept short by commoners' stock - the ponies, donkeys and cattle that can be seen throughout the area.
