  • "We had a mixed group of 5 adults a child and a dog in December 23."

    Had a lovely time in the cottage. The cottage was plenty big enough, warm enough and had interesting things close by to keep us all busy. No problems parking 3 cars and although on a fairly busy road it wasn't noticeable. I was pleased with the price and would be very happy to re visit in the future. Ian winder

Shepton Mallet is set in the Mendip foothills, and is at the geographical heart of the Mendip District, between the villages of Evercreech and Doulting. This is a beautiful landscape, with unique places to visit and activities for everyone. Shepton Mallet is home to the Royal Bath and West Showground; one of Britain's major agricultural shows is held here annually in May/June, and many other events are staged throughout the year. The town is positioned close to Wells, Glastonbury and Bath, and many family attractions including Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole Caves and East Somerset Railway are all within a 45-minute drive.
